Enjoy this breathtaking Gulf-front, sunny unit with spectacular beach and sunset views.
Accommodation for up to 6 with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and queen sleeper sofa.
The open floor plan of living room, dining room, kitchen and den offer full views of the sparkling turquoise water, blue sky and white sandy beach. The unit is newly re-decorated in natural, soothing tones of soft blues and tans that flow from the outside colors of the beach, water and sky that you see from all these rooms. There are new wood floors throughout and no carpet. The private balcony has panoramic views, shade cover and comfortable, new patio furniture.
The spacious master bedroom feels very private, has beach view, king bed, flat-screen TV, en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower and large closets. Living room has beautiful, new pale blue leather sofas. Kitchen is well-equipped with many new items and beach views. The large utility closet is filled with inflatable beach toys, beach cart, games, puzzles, iron/ironing board, clothes drying rack/clothes pins, folding grocery cart, all for your use and convenience.

This is the perfect place to relax and recharge. The condo has everything you might need for a getaway— beach umbrellas, towels, coolers, paddle boards, tennis racquets, etc.
The unit was recently refurbished with new wood floors throughout, beautiful new leather sofas. The fully equipped kitchen has gorgeous views of the gulf.
The location provides easy access to a superb Publix grocery store, shops, numerous restaurants of all levels on Longboat Key and several beautiful nature parks.
It's a short drive to St. Armand Circle shops and restaurants as well as downtown Sarasota.

Great Getaway!

Beautiful view

Condo was clean and accurately depicted online. Everything we needed for our stay was available. We loved the grounds and they’re maintained very well. The pool is nice and big and beachfront was amazing. Sara in the office was so helpful as this was our first time at Sand Cay. Very friendly and professional. We have been coming to LBK for years and tried Sand Cay for the first time.. it was our favorite.. we will definitely be back. The view from the condo was spectacular. Sunset in the evening and watched dolphins while drinking coffee in the morning. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Just Another Day in Paradise

No shoes, no shirts, no problem, at least for the guys anyway. We have been Sandy Cay Resort guests since 2013, however this was our 1st stay at one of the gulf view units. All we can say, it's so worth it. The views are just spectacular. Our family thoroughly enjoyed themselves on our daily walks on the beach and search for shells. It was invigorating to have the warm breezes in our face and hear the waves as they came to shore. Breakfast was especially nice while watching the seagulls dive for their breakfast and being fortunate enough to watch the occasional dolphin pods swim. The unit was very welcoming in decor and comfort. No need to bring any beach towels or sand toys. Everything you need is there in the unit, with exception of a washer/dryer. However there is a laundry facility near the pool. So do laundry and swim for awhile is what we did. A short drive for local restaurants and surrounding shopping in St Armand's Square or venture elsewhere along the neighboring communities. The staff was very accommodating suggesting local places to eat, shop or attractions to see.. Be sure to visit the local Mote Marine Aquarium,and museums. We our looking forward to next year's visit.

Lovely place

Our family enjoyed staying at sand cay for our second time on our Christmas break. Our condo had the best views and we enjoyed every second of our time. We will be back!

Melissa and Justin and all the team take wonderful care of us. My wife is disabled and we found out upon arrival earlier this month, the elevator was out of service. I called Justin for help. Justin was able to get us to another unit within 15 minutes of talking with him. The next day, Melissa called me and worked something out for the remainder of our trip. We are already planning our next trip to Sand Cay :)

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 218 unit - crock roaches from the 1st day in the main room and bathroom in the living room in the 2nd room. We had to sleep in a very bad condition and with pest spray, for the first 3 nights in addition to the septic tank odor inside the main room.Then administration gave us a 2nd apartment with no ocean view which was clean and in good condition from the 4th night and so.They let us keep going during the day to the 218 to have the ocean view.I am very sorry to experience the bad maintenance of your unit and to have this rented anyway besides the problems; My family and I really love sand cay place but have noticed the bad maintenance condition.

Great location

The property location can’t be beat. Well equipped with beach gear. Beds were comfortable but pillows were not - bring your own. The management office was very nice. There were a few bugs in the place that put a damper on the trip. Could have been due to all the rain from the hurricane.

Absolutely Beautiful View

My girlfriends and I spent 3 days here and the view was just spectacular. Just a short walk to the beach. We will definitely try to book this one again :)
