Our room was clean, staff where friendly, ideal location, easy access from tunnel & Dunkirk, breakfast was good plenty of choice, would definitely use again

Typical Campanile. Clean and reasonably comfortable but in need of tlc. Very limited menu if you don't fancy mussels.

2 hotels next to each other but still with ample parking to accommodate. Very comfortable bed and a good shower, No outside noise disturbance despite being very close to the car park. Spacious room

Nice Hotel, But???
Been to this hotel twice in July , whilst it is clean, and staff are very pleasant to deal with, but the beds were too soft, both time woke up with a sore lower back, and a stiff neck, could do with firmer mattresses. Had dinner at hotel on second stay, just wanted water with dinner, served straight from tap, very warm day, water just as warm, they should chill some in fridge prior to opening the restaurant.

Shabby bedrooms, poorly designed bathroom meant shower screen made access to the bath difficult. Poor soundproofing to adjacent rooms and corridor. Area around was like a ghost town ( hotel next door boarded up) possibly due to a refugee camp being only 2-3 miles away? I would not stay again.

Great Stay
We were travelling by bicycle and we were able to leave our bicycles locked in reception which is manned 24/7. Very happy with our stay, clean comfortable room, great breakfast, very close to the ferry, would stay again

Convenient for ferry
Very convenient for car ferry. Ample parking. Felt very sorry for the manager who was receptionist/barman/chef and waiter all in one as he was only member of staff on. Only pizzas available in the restaurant as it was a Sunday. A billing issue did occur, probably as the manager was doing too many things at once so can't be blamed for that.

Close to Dunkerque but still quiet.
Delighted to find we'd been allocated a ground floor room with mobility access even though it had not been put on booking form it was deffinitely very much appreciated! The only real negative commemt would be that only 1 teabag was included in the tea making facilities- this seems to be rather too common now. The hotel was close to the ferry port but still quiet. It then gave us easy access to the motorway to continue our journey.

The hotel was in the middle of a refurbishment so was only partially occupied and the restaurant was closed. We chose it as we wanted an evening meal and breakfast but we had to go to a local restaurant for our meal and another hotel for breakfast. It was not what we expected.

Tired but serviceable
The hotel is quite tired, rooms were comfortable but worn sanitary ware showed that it’s time for a refresh. The advertised restaurant is not currently open due to a fire, and apparently hasn’t been open for some time, so a 10 minute drive to a commercial area for dinner. Great location for the ferry port, so still worth considering.

Great hotel - easy to find from Calais ferry
We decided on a last minute break and booked the week before. We arrived very late at night (ferry) and this was an overnight stay en route to our main holiday destination. We were really pleasantly surprised by the hotel, (we had cut short our stay in a Campanile in another area on a previous holiday). This hotel was modern, very clean and easily accessible from the ferries at Calais (and probably Dunkirk too). The receptionist was great. He helped us to find parking, as all the spaces were taken and checked us in quickly. The hotel is a little out of the main town and felt very safe. The room was comfortable with a private en-suite bathroom. We didn't stay for breakfast, so can't comment on that.

It is under a refurbishment plan so no comment to be made beyond the room facilities. Could do with having more milk provided and the coffee and tea checked better as there wasn’t enough tea for both of us and we would not have been able to have a cup both in the afternoon and the morning.

Room was as presented, simple but clean and in good condition. Unfortunately, kitchen had suffered a fire and breakfast or meals available. Staff was fiendly and helpfull and provided with breakfast fallback options. Common facilities would benefit from a refresh. I had to delay my arrival by one day, which was well handled by staff.

Convenient hotel for ferry docks & tea/coffee in room. Limited French TV channels & no BBC news 24 channel. Little choice of meats/cheese at breakfast & not always topped up. Room not very clean, carpet stained & needed a good vacuum, bathroom - toilet in need of a good clean. Hotel needs 'freshening up' in corridors.

Close to the port but smelly and mouldy
Check in was pleasant. Room had a stale smell. Latch on wc door missing mould in grout of shower and all over wc ceiling. Linen was clean. Tv remote carpet an bed cushions not so clean. Spend a few euros replacing the extract fans please. It will stop all the mould re growing. Is close to port I didn’t try any food. I’m fine with a small room and low spec, but facilities needs to be clean without Black mould.

Not the normal standard I had expected from a Campanile. While I expected basic facilities, I did not expect the Hotel to be in need of freshening up. Also some of the repairs previously carried out within the bathroom area were poor. Overall I found the Hotel clean but tired and in need of internal redecoration, not particularly cheap. Perhaps the timing of my visit was wrong. On another note I found the staff to be very helpfully and polite.
