I like the place coz it’s walking distance to the metro and center but it’s not a hotel. There’s no reception. It’s an apartment. Not 24 hour . The main door is locked . I came to the place around 2 am good thing there’s a guy who came out and I was able to get in the building . Waited again. Somebody came down and told me the person in charge is in the 3rd floor. . I was gonna leave and find a real hotel. But tried to knock at the door so loud finally a guy came out awaken by my banging at the door . It’s crazy . Next time you have to check clearly the place you are staying .

Room spacious, immaculately clean and very well decorated. Bathroom was fabulous. Hotel located centrally and close to many attractions. All the staff we encountered were exceptionally professional, courteous and helpful. Would certainly stay here again.

This is my second stay at Riu Plaza España and love the location. It is at the bottom of the Gran Via which is full of theaters, attractions, and restaurants. The metro is by the corner as well as bus stops. The service is upscale and the breakfast buffet is great.
