Hidden place in Murcia. Flight to San Javier airport then 5 mins by taxi. The place itself is purely residential with a few bars and clubs for local entertainment. The beach is sandy which is a big plus. However, it is always windy, even when it's +30.

Nice hotel in a great location close to bars and restaurants. Room spacious and excellent facilities. Could provide free water which is typical of most 4 star hotels and better pillows. The long bolster was quite hard.

Nice little town, sadly terribly damaged by the flood. A lot of places were closed. ALL the beaches were closed. No bathing allowed in the Mar Menor and the prom was damaged. The whole area was muddy and dirty. Mud pumping lorries and rubbish skips.

Only a few weeks after the floods so unfair to comment on the beach and resort

The recent storms wreaked havoc on the town and the after effects were still visible when we arrived. Having said that the whole community had banded together and restored most of what damage had been done. Amazingly resilient people , lovely town
