Gem of a place, great location

A cozy getaway just a block from the beach and close to good coffee and food options. The carriage house was a great spot for the 2 of us and Dayle was an excellent host. A very positive experience all around!

Charming Cottage in a Perfect Location

We recently stayed at this cozy cottage in Santa Monica and had a wonderful experience. The location is unbeatable—just minutes from the beach and Santa Monica Pier. It’s a fantastic home base for exploring everything the area has to offer.While the space is a bit tight for a family of four, it’s well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I absolutely loved my stay at Dayle's home. It is beautifully decorated with many amenities that you need for your stay at the beach. My family and I enjoyed the walkability of the location and went to the beach/pier every day of our stay. I actually walked 13 miles one day - Venice Beach, Marina Del Ray - so enjoyable and beautiful. The pier was the highlight of the trip for my granddaughter. We purchased the wristband which is good for the entire day. We were able to return in the evening to the pier and ride the rides one more time before the day ended. Dayle is a great host - communicates well and it was so easy to "check in". I would love to come back and stay here again!

Amazing place... Shhh... Don't tell too many people :)

We loved it. Close to the beach. If you want to be a tourist head to the Santa Monica pier, if you want to be a local head south to Venice. Great location and so much to do. Hosts were also great!

Honeymoon in Santa Monica

We finished our amazing California honeymoon in this wonderful spot in Santa Monica. Dayle was a welcoming host, communication was easy and the property perfect. Easy to get to the beach and all the restaurants and nightlife of SM and Venice Beach. Perfect little courtyard for a meal in when we needed a night in too!

Beautiful property right next to the beach

It was just me and my 11 yo son. The home was perfect for the two of us and had everything we needed for both inside the house and to take with us to the beach. I highly recommend this property.

So close to the beach!

What a wonderful place! Close to the beach, with all the beach amenities provided (chairs, towels, blankets, cooler and ice packs). In walking distance of tons of great food and shops. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect!!

If you’re looking for close to the beach, then this is it. Worked out great for my girlfriend, two boys and I. Everything you need is there, and basically the same price as the hotels. We would definitely go back!
