The front desk staff are very polite and helpful. There was an issue with the parking ticket, but they handled it immediately. The room is very clean. Whenever I come to LA, I always stay at this hotel. Although I can’t specify which country they were from, some guests were walking down the hallway late at night and speaking very loudly, so noise from the hallway can be heard quite clearly.

The facilities were very clean, contemporary in appearance and had great access to the freeways. The security staffing was very visible at all times The down sides were parking and The front entrance drive up was congested on a regular basis and the ticket system for parking was extremely annoying. It required validation stickers to be attached to the meter receipts which was very confusing and on two occasions the validation stickers stopped working and necessitated obtaining a new one to get in and out of the parking areas. Also all doors and elevators required the use of a room key to access. They weren’t consistent in their necessity and it seemed very redundant. Not sure why the elevators would need this type of security measure. Lastly use of the parking structure was an additional charge that wasn’t clearly stated in the website before booking. I understand that the trade off is not all guests have vehicles so the booking price is attractive but getting blindsided with that charge at check-in was off putting. In addition the staff stated that a $100 deposit was required but when the hold was placed on my credit card it was for the full amount of my projected stay plus the deposit. Then it was stated that the deposit would be refunded a few days after my bill was reconciled. I paid for the parking upfront so the deposit is the companies way of getting extra monies to generate investment revenue. I doubt i would have stayed here if I knew this issues in advance.

Tye only good thing was the bed was comfortable and there was keurig pods and machine in the room. Aside from that, not much is good. It si pretty noisy and could hear the toilet flush from the neighboring and upstairs room. Also, there was a gap at the bottom of the door so hallways noise got in. Morning shuttle to the airport is chaotic. Apparently a tourist group made request for a ride to the shuttle but no one else was informed of this. So when the tour group got on the shuttle, other people got upset as nearly half the froup came down later than most others but the shuttle took onlythe tour group. People got upset and had yealling... the front desk was not help when i went to complain. We took the shuttle to drop off some relaitives and had to wait nearly 45 minutes for a shuttle to return to hotel. You can hear the road noise in the room.
