Amazing oasis in the heart of Hollywood!

I stayed with my two young children ages six and eleven. The home served as the perfect serene spa to relax at between trips around wonderful Los Angeles! The children were 100% thrilled with the pool and hot while I read or prepared meals.

Great location, private - perfect for an LA stay!

Exactly as advertised! We had such a great time here. It is so close to many great attractions - and then having the private pool to go back to after a long day of sightseeing was perfect for our family. Highly recommend!

Private Paradise

This was an easy, beautiful stay for us. The kids loved the pool and we loved the greenery, birds and private setting. The inside was incredibly clean and thoughtfully arranged and organized. Lisa was friendly and helpful and gave us lots of space. We miss it there already!

Lovely accommodations

We came here for a girls trip and had a great stay! Check in was super easy and everything in the house was well labelled and easy to find. The host was very thoughtful and each room was well stocked and had everything you’d need. The pool and outdoor space were beautiful and super relaxing. The house is in a great neighborhood and close to countless restaurants and retail stores. I also really enjoyed having separate spaces for the two rooms.

Perfect Hideaway in Superb Location

I booked this beauty while visiting my daughter who lives in LA so her grandmother, aunt, and I could bond. We had a blast! The rooms couldn’t be more comfortable, beautiful or spacious. We enjoyed our coffee poolside each morning, and lounged in the pool and hot tub all evening. It was so quiet and secluded you would never know how close we were to everything—Hollywood tours, Warner Bros tours, shopping and wonderful restaurants. It was the absolute perfect getaway. Our host even welcomed us a bottle of wine, pop, and beer and snacks. It will be hard to top!

Private and quiet, but close to so much!

We stayed here five days as a family who was going to theme parks. The location was perfect and it was private and quiet. The house has so many amenities! Thanks for a great vacation. We will definitely be back.

Perfect Stay in LA

Great "home-base" for us to vacation in LA...safe, beautiful, quiet, and relaxing. Close to all the Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Sunset Strip must-sees and dos. Host was very accomadating and quick to respond to requests. Loved the pool/hottub/deck area for relaxing before and after a day/evening out. Bonus: moderate hike to the Hollywood sign from this house for an amazing experience. I did the hike twice during our 5 night stay....including once hiking to Griffiths Observatory and back to this house. It took a long time (5 hours) but was perfect for someone who loves to walk and hike.

Wedding Hideaway

We enjoyed out stay at both the studio and upstairs room. Parking was easy and communication with owner was good. Carpet under bed could be cleaner, but overall we were happy with our stay.

My daughter loved the place!

Nice place. Nice neighborhood. I like how the one bedroom is separate from the house. Kinda like your own hotel room with bathroom and mini fridge. It sure was nice to get away from the noisy family at night.

Amazing location and perfect suites!

My wife and I, and another couple stayed here for four nights recently. It was an amazing trip, made all the better by this rental and the host. Super easy check in and out, amazing location mere minutes walk from Hollywood Bowl, and short drives to pretty much everything else. Super secluded, wouldn’t even know there are other houses crammed right around it. Mornings on the front deck with coffee and donuts were great, and evenings with drinks in the hot tub and pool just capped it all off. Would 100% rent from Lisa again!

Best place where you can stay in LA

Best place to stay if you are visiting LA. Everything is perfect. The pool, the room, the kitchen, the shower and girls leave you're hairdryer and curling iron at home.... It is there!!!! No need to get bottles of water, there is a thing that clears you're tap water. And the shower was the best we had in month...... Thx you Lisa for making us feel welkom and at home. Awesome location

This place is in an ideal location for visiting many LA attractions. Pool and hot tub are great. It could have been cleaner. We found used Q-tips in the shower and the window coverings were dirty. The upstairs suite is located far from the main unit. The listing is deceiving in this way. We assumed it was just above like in the photos. Most VRBOs are not owner occupied (I think they advertise this as a VRBO quality). However, the owner was onsite the whole time. Some minor noise due to this. Lisa was great though. Very prompt replies and provided some useful suggestions.

Magical Hollywood Retreat

If you want to visit Hollywood, then this is a must. Perfectly located, we visited Universal Studios, Griffith Observatory, Hollywood walk of fame, Hollywood cemetery, TCL Chinese Theater, Santa Monica Pier, La Brea tar pits. We were busy all day, came to the house for night swims and to soak in the jacuzzi. The teens loved having thier own suite and bathroom. My suite had a huge bathroom with walk in shower and a huge walk in closet. By far the best family vacation and weve been to Vegas twice, Seattle, Hawaii. Disney twice, San Fran. Nothing is comparable. Oh did i mention coffee and Jacuzzi in the morning! Absolutely Magical!

Perfect LA retreat

We had a week in LA packed with everything from hikes to concerts to museums to unexpected explorations but what really made the trip was the ability to come back to this perfect retreat and recharge. Our 14- and 16-year old took over the poolside unit and loved having their own time in the morning by the pool and with the ping pong table. Husband and I had our own upstairs hide-away. And we loved gathering all together for a dip and a game in the evening under the twinkling lights. Due to the demand on this property, we had to move to a fancy hotel for the last two nights, but every single thing paled in comparison to Lisa's spot: The bathroom and kitchen amenities, the pool access, the art, even the heft of the towels. And how can you beat the free and easy parking?! Thank you for everything, Lisa. If we're not lucky enough to come back, we'll send all our friends.

Great stay, great location

I stayed here, with my daughter, for a week- and each day it felt more and more like a good home base to come back to, after our daily adventures throughout the city. And the location made it a great launching point for many of things we did. The neighborhood is relatively peaceful and Lisa was a wonderful host- both accommodating and responsive. Street parking was available, as mentioned. Most nights it was directly out front. Only one evening did we need to park a bit further away. Not a big deal, though. The place felt clean and it was great to have the washing machine and dryer available. You walk out the front door and the laundry room is adjacent. At first, didn’t know if that would be awkward. But it wasn’t at all. It’s actually set up nicely, with the laundry room being clean and in good order. It made it easy to get a couple loads in, as needed. Had everything we needed in the kitchen, too, to make breakfast or reheat leftovers. The only other thing to note is the second bedroom is not connected to the main living area. That is in a separate area that you walk outside, up the stairs and around, as it’s on a higher level. For my daughter and me, we just ended up using the main level with the bed and futon, versus us staying in separate areas. But we did look at the second bedroom and it’s also set up nicely, with ample closet space, a mini fridge and its own bathroom/shower. Overall, a great experience. It made the trip that much more enjoyable.

We had a great stay! Clean, quiet, lovely pool area, and nice to have separate spaces for sleeping. This place had everything we needed and was walking distance to Hollywood Bowl. Will definitely stay again next time we are in town.
