Extended stay

We stayed for 2 weeks and the place was perfect for 2 adults and 2 kids (4,7). The sofa couch with the extra mattress is comfortable. The location is central with numerous dining options and grocery stores nearby.

San Fernando Get Away

Family Visit

This was a small but mighty space. It had all the things we would have at home but in a smaller space, which it did not feel like so. There was a lot of space for the kids to play outside and thank you for 2 tv's. I was able to lounge while the girls were able to watch cartoons.

Little home away from home

The moment we opened the front door. It felt like home. This lovley and peaceful location was everything we needed for our little family of three. From the spacious background to the roomy bedroom and full kitchen. Great location from literally everything. Thank you again for having us. This is going to be our new place for vacations and little get aways.

Nice casita that has just enough of what you need

The property was located behind the main house and the directions to check in were clear. We all enjoyed our stay, even though there were some ants that showed up, just keep the area clean and it should help. There were spare sheets for the pullout couch and the mini split worked well. We didn’t use the dryer and washer but that was a nice feature in case we needed it. I’d recommend this place for anyone that is looking for something small yet fits their needs. The host was friendly and accommodating.

MINOR GLITCHES

Large backyard with astroturf suitable for frisbee, etc. Nice rear cottage. Heater a little slow to warm up interior, but nice soft additional blankets. Couldn't get either TV to go beyond homepage after futzing with all buttons on remotes (not a biggie in that we hadn't really gone on vacation in order to watch TV).

Casita

The casita is a decent size and we fit 2 adults and 2 children comfortably. It was an awkward arrival as the main house was also rented out and the occupants of that house were also arriving at the same time. They were asking us if we were also staying there and said they had booked 1 1/2 months prior and seemed to be bothered about the “confusion.” We explained that we were renting the casita in the back and then they realized they were staying in the main house. We then headed through the side gate and were met by the cleaning person who said she hadn’t been told the casita was being rented out and wasn’t sure if it was clean. So we waited outside while she checked it out. She said it was clean and we were finally able to go inside. The casita was clean. The bed is comfortable but very squeaky. I was never able to figure out the dryer. I did not want to bother the manager, but you are able to if you really need it. We only had 1 partially used toilet paper roll and no more available, so we had to go out to buy more. For what we paid, we assumed we would have more available. Other than those issues, it was a good stay.
