The Expedia amenities section highlights parking as a feature of the hotel. It is only if you click "see more amenities", that you find out parking is an add'l $40/day. At that price I could've paid for Ace Hotel or somewhere much nicer downtown.
After circling the block looking for parking, I called Kawada 2x, went through their operator system, no one at the hotel picked up- mind you this is around 5:30-6 pm. I ended up parking @ an overnight lot a few blocks away, which isn't ideal considering a few days ago there was a shooting downtown and now I have to walk farther to get to my car.
When we checked in the room there were popcorn kernels on the desk, indicating that the surfaces weren't cleaned before we got the room. the decorative runner on the bed was covered in greasy looking stains and what seemed like food residue. The shower towels were white but had black lint on them, like they are washed with other linens or aren't cleaned thoroughly. The soap dispensers were sort of broken and hard to get soap to come out.
Obviously this is a downtown hotel so I'm not expecting to have full peace and quiet, but the windows here are very thin and you can hear everything on the street level, even from the top floor of the hotel. The windows have standard blinds but the room does not get dark (maybe add some curtains?) so it was hard to sleep.
I would not stay here again, it was dirty and inconvenient. Not worth the price.
