• For peace of mind, the property is equipped with 5 outdoor Ring cameras monitoring exterior entry points only. No cameras are indoors.

• Bedroom 1 has large ocean-facing windows — not recommended for unsupervised children (screens are not designed to prevent falls).

• Guests assume all responsibility when using the rooftop, bikes, surfboards, windows and stairs during their stay.

Local Landmark
• The home is across from the famous Manhattan Beach Chevron — one of only two gas stations located directly by the beach inside the coastal zone.

Parking
• Garage accommodates up to 4 compact/mid-size suvs. Oversized SUVs (Suburbans/Escalades) may not fit. Can park in front of garage or street parking and a metered lot at the bottom of the hill are available.

Oceanfront Living
• This is a family beach house, so you may notice the occasional minor mark here or there.
• To preserve those sweeping views, most windows are screen-free. If you open them for fresh ocean air, you may also let in a couple of tiny seaside visitors from time to time.

Accessibility Note
• This is a three-story home with a rooftop deck, accessed by a ladder from Bedroom 1 (through a hatch).
• To access the main floor, there are about 10 steps in total — approximately 5 exterior steps to the entrance and 5 interior steps inside. Two small interior flights of stairs connect the main and upper levels. For families, we’ve installed baby gates at both the top and bottom of stairs— please use them to help keep little ones safe (and reach out if you have questions).
• The rooftop ladder and Bedroom 1’s ocean-view window are not suitable for small children — adult supervision is required.
• Family-friendly extras include a portable crib, bassinet, and two inflatable mattresses for added flexibility.

Pet Policy
• Dogs under 35 lbs welcome with a small fee (photo required).
• No barking, no pets on furniture, and no unattended pets.
• Please keep pets quiet to respect the neighbors.

Neighborhood Courtesy
• Please be mindful of our neighbors. Rooftop access is welcome, but no loud voices or music after 9 PM.

Host, Brian, was very helpful! House was especially nice with separate levels for two different families. In addition, each level had a door dividing the sleeping areas from the gathering areas. This was especially nice for "early-riser-coffee-drinkers". Walk to ocean was 2 blocks and then several miles of the famous "Strand" to walk or bike. We rented at Christmas time and walked into the home greeted by a fully decorated Christmas tree and lights on each window. Such a warm greeting! Nice bedding and large screen TV in gathering areas as well as nearly every bedroom. All 4 baths had been renovated. We were able to walk to nearby wonderful restaurants. Garage parking was generous for 2 vehicles. Very nice!
