Exclusive guest house in perfect location

We came with our two children to spend a few days in L.A. The guest house was well equiped, tiny but charming and the pool/jacuzzi made use feel privileged. The location was great to visit the city, hike in the canyon or go to the beach. We would go back with no hesitation!

I loved staying here with my 3 children. It was not too far from the beach, but tucked away enough that it was quiet and very relaxing without the busy vibe of LA. The hosts were extremely kind and attentive, but also gave us our space to have great family time. I hope to be back someday!!

Quiet, pretty spot with easy access to everything!

I so enjoyed our stay at this location. I had to work in LA, and also wanted to do some sightseeing in Santa Monica. This location was a perfect jumping off point, which let you be close *enough* and yet feel like you’re getting away from it all.

A Hidden Gem

Our stay with Rachel was exactly what my husband and I were looking for! The guest house is clean, comfy, private - and the gated backyard area was perfect for our dog. Great place to be

We stayed at Rachel's at the end of our 15 day road trip out West last April. The location is ideal for visiting the north of LA. The shops nearby are very good. Be careful you need the car. The house is very quiet and Rachel is very welcoming. The environment is splendid. You are surrounded by nature so close to the hustle and bustle of the city. We had a great stay there, too short. Go there no problem. We’re French’s.

Photos are accurate. The pool is rimmed with rock and mimics a natural pool more than a turquoise rectangle. My son jumped in the cold water both afternoons we were there. We both enjoyed the hot tub. Screen shot directions or commit to memory. Cell service in the canyon is spotty.

Beautiful location away from the big city.

Absolutely beautiful location. We arrived on a sunny day and were graciously greeted by our hosts. Great pool and hottub set up and we had everything that we needed at the property. There was a landslide which blocked the direct South road to Topanga from the southern highway. We were rerouted (by google) to take the Las Flores road to get to Topanga. It ended up being a wonderful diversion and we got to see some amazing properties on the way. Would actually recommend taking that route at least once if you are new to the area.

Great Guest house to stay - with pool and spa

This is my first time using Vbro as I have used the "other' one mostly in the past but do not travel much. Well. of all the places I HAVE stayed at, this was the BEST! A nice private guest house with a full kitchen ( important to me) and the pool, spa and semi private lush landscape just outside the large view French doors. Check in was flawless as we check out. The queen bed up in the loft was very comfortable and the main living room and dining area were nice as well. Rachel was not home most of the time but we communicated when needed and she was very responsive to a a minor issue and helped set up the spa remotely, until I figured it out. Overall a 9 our of 10 which is far better than ANY other place I have stayed.
