I booked a King bed ocean view room with a hot tub, but the experience was disappointing. Upon arrival, we were informed that the main swimming pool was under construction, causing constant noise throughout the day. This made using the ocean view patio unpleasant. We also had to follow up with room service to bring our luggage to the room. Additionally, I requested a kettle from room service, but it never arrived. The hot tub's temperature controls and buttons did not work as advertised. Overall, I was surprised this was labeled as a VIP Access by Expedia as the room wasn’t cheap. I would inquire if main swimming pool is on going before u book the room. Rooftop swimming pool costs extra if you want to use any of the chairs.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this resort ruined what should have been a special birthday weekend. From check-in onward we were pressured over and over to attend a timeshare/membership presentation. Once we declined, the attitude toward us noticeably changed. We’d been told we’d “most likely” get an early check-in text, but no message ever came. Even after official check-in time we still waited. I had booked an Executive Suite Sea View; at the desk they claimed to “upgrade” us to a two-bedroom Executive Suite for my Expedia VIP status and assured me it had an even better view. It didn’t. When I questioned it, we were shown a room that actually did — but were told we could only have it if we sat through the presentation or paid $810 more. We declined and were left with a non-sea-view room even though that’s what I’d paid for. The suite was dated, the kitchen sink had no running water, and the main pool with the beautiful view (a major reason I chose this property) was closed all weekend amid loud drilling and construction. Dining was also disappointing: one restaurant isn’t included in the all-inclusive plan, and the two that are had nearly identical menus. We were promised a manager’s call that never came. Overall, this was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. We will never return or recommend this resort.

We loved our room with an incredible ocean view & private hot tub on our balcony! Linens, mattress, sofa, large TV, bathrobes were all excellent!! We also loved the Beach Club, Rooftop pool, bar & music! We were able to walk to everything (a plus for not wanting to rent a car or take a taxi everywhere. The location was the best!

Surprise birthday trip for my husband. Thank you, Marcela!!

Worst hotel in Cabo. Don’t waste your time or money here. From check in to check out we had the worst experience with the staffs. The room we booked was not what we got on arrival. They were also not helpful with rectifying the issue. They never answered any questions we had regarding all the extra fees we were charged. Do yourself a favor and book somewhere else if you want to have a good time in Cabo.!

Check in time is at 4pm and wasn’t able to check in earlier, due to that as soon as you walk in the sales rep approach you right away Walk you to the bar with two free complimentary drinks. At first we thought they would give us a tour of the pool area ,rooftop and restaurants with in the hotel but few minutes into the conversation she became EXTREMELY pushy to sale you on a VIP tour /timeshare in order receive 3 nights free and discount on spa and dinner. Which is not technically free Cost $110 person cash only which includes breakfast and spa massage plus 2 hour tour If you did get the 3 nights free be aware you will have to attend another 2 hr tour which is a final decision for you to purchase the VIP if you refuse they make you pay the 3 free nights Food options in the bar weren’t great and food wasn’t so good Aleta restaurant looked like a better option but we ended up getting food poisoning Pool music was kept low, pool was always empty,kept seeing the same people which means hotel was mostlikely empty Positive note It’s a Beautiful hotel in center of everything But i would never return or recommend anyone to book here Go Book at riu, or me Cabo

This hotel would have gotten 5 stars from me but the air conditioning didn’t work well in the units we were assigned. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. It was only the problem with the a/c.

The room was great - spacious and comfortable. The property is getting cleaned regularly and looks very tidy. Food is good - decent quality, but nothing outstanding. I didn't like being upsold the vacation club from the moment we walked in. We wanted to book activities and nothing more, and the hotel staff was not helping with that

All the staff were extremely helpful and ensure you are staying at the resort to maximize safety for guests. Everything was at walking distance and if you need to go to a further restaurant you can request a taxi at the front. The rooms were clean and we always returned to the room with a fresh set of towels and bed sheets. Will 100% recommend and return!
