A little disappointed. Elevator 1 was out for our entire stay and we had to personally haul our luggage up 4 flights, bed was extremely firm, robes were stiff and scratchy, our air went out and window wouldn't open. Hotel provided us with a fan. Lobby area quite small.
Location was excellent - right by the train station and bus station and around the corner from the Royal Mile. The young staff was efficient. Good coffees and teas in room along with sparkling and still water daily and 2 samples of Scotch upon arrival. Good lighting in bathroom with a make up mirror that was located in a perfect place for optimum use.
Wouldn't classify this as a luxury hotel
