I couldn’t have picked a better place to stay while on my trip to DC. Hotel was clean, well maintained, friendly staff, and having everything within walking distance was great. Metro station is literally right below the hotel which made it super convenient to get around. Each floor also has a complimentary filtered water system to fill up your own water bottle or they have plastic bottles for you which saved me a lot time and money by not having to go to the CVS or 7-Eleven for water constantly. I would 100% rebook this hotel if I were to ever return to DC.

Overall it was a good stay the room was clean.The staff was good in the beginning but at checkout the women working the front desk was rude and acted as if she didn’t want to be ask questions about the shuttles. And there was a problem with the printer I assume because I never received my receipt and she said she would email it .

I would have given this a higher rating but felt assaulted when we entered the portico and into the hotel. The large pictures of seductive young men were offensive to us. The decor of the worn out carpet didn’t help. Then realizing it had been a church was insulting. The water pressure was difficult in our bathroom. The staff was wonderful and friendly. The rooms were clean.

Before arriving we did not realize how SMALL the rooms were. The pictures do not show this well, and the descriptions we read also did not make us aware of this. My husband and I both use a cpap machine and it was difficult to be in that bed and plug them both in, we had to order an extension cord and have it delivered. We stayed only 2 of our reserved 8 nights before moving to a standard sized room in another hotel.
