"Abbeyglen Castle was perhaps our favorite stay during our trip through Ireland. The room was spacious and elegant, the restaurant was great and our host (the hotel owner, very hands-on) made the stay very special and indeed joyful. He had a flair for conversation, humor and makes one feel like a long-lost friend. Don't miss his 600pm Prosecco hour - it was a great way to end a day. Truly a "must stay" recommendation!"

"If I could give more than 5 stars i would! The communication was fantastic I would get a response within a couple of hours. Then when we arrived at the house it was more than we could have asked for, the view was so gorgeous we couldn't even speak. John of course stopped by and made sure we were all settled in and there was anything else he could do to make our stay better. John evern got a fishing trip ready for us and even though we didn't catch anything it was amazing. We were sad to leave but we definitely will be back!"

"The hotel is a bit of distance from downtown Galway. The hotel itself, fantastic!! Breakfast buffet is highly recommended, many options, hot & always replenishing. The gym was dynamite, multiple floors with new & old gym equipment. The Courtyard restaurant had great offerings & very delicious. Mollie, was unbelievably helpful, a pure delight to deal with. She made our stay much better & always there to help out."
