Contractors living in the hotel!
Disappointed in our recent stay. Contractors are living in the hotel and we had to complain about people smoking in their rooms, the smell of weed, tons of trash outside, and people loitering and swearing inside the hotel. The phone in the room didn’t work either.

Absolutely no customer service skills!
Booked this hotel by accident - wanted to stay near the airport. Realized the error on the arrival date and reached out to hotel to change reservation. TownePlace stated that I needed to reach out to Expedia to change reservation.Reached out to Expedia, they said I needed to contact hotel - total runaround. After 40 minutes on hold Expedia told me that hotel refused to make the change. So...ended up spending an extra $200 on Uber to get to where I was going. Hotel itself is OK...but communication/customer service is AWFUL!

Amazing facility

The description was false, it showed we would have a full size stove and suite, 2 beds and a small room off of bedroom.. that was not the case. It was a cramped room and only a small kitchenet. The table in the room was not cleaned there was syrup in several areas that then made our stuff very sticky. The pool area was freezing as though the heat was turned off in there and there were never any towels down there. Staff was friendly and beds were comfortable.

We appreciate your feedback. The description you are referring to is our one-bedroom suites which have a seperate bedroom closed off from the living room area. We have three different room types in the hotel and you booked the studio suite that has a cooktop stove and is one large open room rather than a private bedroom. I'm sorry for the confusion.

Il start with the positive , staff were nice lobby was nice , pool nice , free parking kitchen was great But no housekeeping, rooms were a lot smaller than expected breakfast so so Over feeling were not 100 happy wont stay again to be honest

Thank you for staying with us. We do offer housekeeping service on a request basis. I will make sure our staff is better communicating that to every guest. We do have many options for our complimentary breakfast including cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, eggs, sausage, bread/toast, oatmeal, milk, coffee, tea and juice. I'm sorry if there was something you were looking for that was not offered.

We reserved a King bed room bc of our 2 small children, but when we arrived, they gave us a queen, and said that’s what Expedia sent over. We showed them our confirmation and they said there was nothing they could do. We’ve called Expedia 5 times, every time not calling back when they said they would. To this point, we refuse to do business with Expedia and this hotel ever again.

Unfortunately, the hotel was sold out of King rooms the night of your stay so we were not able to change your room type but it looks like you received a room with 2 queen beds. I apologize if that was not accomodating to your travel party.

Hotel staff was so nice, friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful time. The hotel staff goes above and beyond and made it very memorable. We travel to this particular area once a year and will continue to book at this hotel. We wouldn’t want to go anywhere else. Fantastic staff!! Rooms are very nice and CLEAN! Snacks downstairs, any time of night. Pool and gym open late. Awesome experience!

The breakfast was terrible. I was given moldy muffins to eat. The room was not clean, there were dirty dishes in my room. Housekeeping was not permitted to come in and clean my room even though it wasn't clean when we checked in

Couldn't Sleep - AC Design flawed
Liked the layout of the room and the bed was comfortable, but the motion sensor for the air conditioning was located in the kitchen around the corner from the bed. I woke up sweating 3 - 4 times per night and had to get up and go to the kitchen just to get the air to come back on. Very frustrating. This is a poor design, and honestly, making the AC contingent upon motion is an overall cheap and annoying trait in any establishment. I called the front desk and they said only a maintenance person could fix the issue, but none were scheduled on site.

I am so sorry to hear that you did not have a good night's sleep due to the HVAC setting in your room not being set properly. There is a motion sensor option, but that should not have been set to that while the room was occupied. The rooms have a serious safety hazard with their showers leaking water on the floors. If youre not careful when exiting the showers, a fall xan easily happen due to the significant amout of water leaking on the floor from rhe showers. Management is aware of the problem and is not doing anything to reconfigure rhe showers. We had to keep towels on the floor to constantly absorb the water leaking out. You could also tell that the floorboards and trim were freshly painted, indicating that they are covering up mold and mildew stains from the water damage. In addition, housekeeping needs to improve, as our bathroom shower was full of hair upon our arrival. Clearly indicating that the bathroom was not thoroughly cleaned.

The stay here was amazing the manager on duty was a young gentleman wearing a bowtie. He provided the most excellent customer care and service that we have Experienced in our travels. He was extremely helpful and very attentive and provided unmatched service. Which means a lot to us because we frequently travel all over the United States.

Amazing hotel!!! Friendly manager!!!
This hotel is so nice! I’m very picky and I was blown away. Room was so clean! The manager (male guy with bow tie) provided the most stand up service! So friendly and really made our experience enjoyable! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone! I have nothing bad to say! I’ve never been to a hotel and the manager was so accommodating and friendly! Not to mention the pool open till 11 and the fire pit and grill are along amenities offered!!

Quiet, clean, and comfortable.
Very clean comfortable stay as usual. The breakfast is still not back to normal yet because of Covid and one of the ladies serving the morning we left was rude and unhelpful when I asked if they had milk for a protein shake until the other requested she go check what I asked for. Overall one of the nicest places we stayed on the trip. Everyone else was very polite and helpful.

The property was clean. But the elevator broke twice while we were there. There was only one host there so sometimes our phone calls didn't get answered to the front desk. We didnt know we had to make reservations to swim (their pool is VERY small)and they were all booked up so my kids didn't get to swim.(we only stayed one night.)...overall i dont think it was worth the price...

I'm so sorry to hear you weren't able to swim. Due to Covid restrictions, we did have to make adjustments in order to comply with local health department regulations to keep our pool open. Many hotels in the area chose to keep thiers closed but we wanted to be able to offer our pool to guests. One of the regulations included having guests make reservations for the pool and limiting how many could go in at a time. Looking over the reservations for the weekend, there were plenty of time slots with availability but a couple of times later Saturday night were completely filled which is common on weekends. Again I'm sorry the time you wanted wasn't available. With restrictions loosening up now here locally, you should not run into that issue if your travels bring you back to Louisville.

The staff was amazing. So sweet and welcoming. Check in was quick and they were willing to give us a list of things to do nearby. The rooms were spacious enough and had a kitchenette that included a dish washer. Total plus because my kids love pizza rolls wherever they go. Only thing I liked but wasn't to keen of was the shower. Although beautifully placed, nothing kept water from getting on the floor. All in all, I'll be back soon. Thanks Tre and U (i don't want to misspell his name) for bring awesome.

Pros: The rooms were updated and and we loved the kitchenette and having a table for 4 people to sit at. The breakfast area was very clean and had nice choices for a quick to go breakfast. The outdoor area looked very nice, but we didn't have time to enjoy it. The staff was extremely friendly upon check in and checkout. We will definitely be looking for this hotel on other trips. Cons: The showerhead was very mineralized, and I let management know the next morning. They were very apologetic and said they would put in a maintenance request. We only stayed one night as we were passing through on our return home from our spring break trip. Also, the pool was closed, which was a huge disappointment to my children, but ya know...COVID :(
