Lovely Loulé apartment

Well appointed, spacious apartment in a good location. All the facilities that you could want to do eat in and plenty of restaurants nearby if you want to eat out. We even enjoyed the Algarve New Year fireworks display from the balcony. Loulé is a great location for exploring different parts of the Algarve, such as Alte and Tavira. The indoor market is market is worth a visit and there is great choice of supermarkets, Contenente is less than a 5 minute walk.

Superb apartment with sea views

The apartment is excellent, spacious and comfortable for six people with a distant view of the coastline. The kitchen is well equipped with a large fridge/freezer and a washing machine that we found very useful. The beds are large and comfortable. Parking is easy and it is walking distance to town and restaurants. Air conditioning, which we didn't need in October, is provided by one large free standing unit in the open plan lounge / dining area. I am not sure how effective this would be in the bedrooms in the height of summer? Check in could have been smoother but our changing timings was no doubt a contributory factor to this. We would stay again.

2/10 Terrible

Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, listing accuracy
We stayed at this property from June 1–7 and were very disappointed with the overall condition of the apartment, particularly its cleanliness and sleeping accommodations. Upon arrival, the apartment did not appear to have been cleaned to an acceptable standard. There was visible dust, dirt in multiple areas, and a general feeling that housekeeping had been rushed or neglected. Several parts of the kitchen required additional cleaning before we felt comfortable using them, and the bathrooms also appeared less than thoroughly cleaned. The biggest disappointment was the condition of the beds and bedding. The sheets felt old, worn, and made from an uncomfortable synthetic material that trapped heat and made sleeping unpleasant. The mattresses were among the most uncomfortable we have experienced in a vacation rental. They appeared old and heavily used, offering very little support, which resulted in poor sleep throughout our stay. While the apartment is spacious, the size alone does not compensate for the lack of cleanliness, outdated bedding, and uncomfortable sleeping arrangements. Cleanliness and a good night’s sleep are fundamental expectations for any accommodation, and unfortunately this property fell short on both counts. We are careful reviewers and understand that every property has occasional issues. However, the concerns noted above were significant enough to affect our overall experience. We believe future guests should be aware of these conditions before booking.
