"Property is secluded and beautiful, very new and very quiet. Room was spacious, bed was comfortable, and the room and property are spotlessly clean. Staff was attentive and helpful. The only drawback was in-room AC - it didn’t seem to be working, even after we complained and had it checked. It was a bit muggy in the room given it was Portugal in July. "Beautiful property. Extensive breakfast. The indoor casual (non-dining) areas are part of the original palace and you can roam around freely and sit while enjoying the space. The hotel rooms are modern, well equipped and very spacious - they have a closed off balcony. There is no access to the outdoor gardens from the room. The gardens directly in the front of the palace and around the columns are accessible. There is no access to what looks like an Orangery and the areas where the fountain(?)...

"Hotel was great - you can borrow bikes to get into Quinta shopping in about 3 minutes. Ubers are extremely quick, reliable and cheap to get into other areas such as Vale do Lobo (around 4 euros!). Lovely pool, amazing breakfast with so much to choose from. The only downside would be how loud the aircon was in our room. "

. Some large groups were a bit loud in one day and their swearing language was bot pleasant to hear when they sat may us at the pool . It was only for 2 hours. Not much the hotel can do about that. Bfast was great . Evening bars were quiet and should really have bar near pool in evening to have somewhere nice to sit. Only issue with room was no light that you can see...
