Disappointing

Having stayed at the Crest previously I was quite disappointed in the way the property has deteriorated, specifically in relation to maintenance issues, cleanliness was not fantastic to be honest, shower would not work and we have an ant infestation, on a positive note the reception staff were very pleasant, unfortunately I would not stay here again.

The property was amazing 👏. It was clean and spacious and had all that we needed. Although we were told the property would be cleaned every other day but we had the cleaners in daily. And the gift of bread rolls every morning was much appreciated. I would definitely recommend staying at the Crest.

We asked the reception if they could accommodate early check in and late check out. While early check in was not possible we did get to check out at 2pm rather than 10am for free. We stayed for 7 days and housekeeping came to refresh our linen on day 5. We had read that this was meant to be every 3 days though apparently the do not clean on a Sunday which is why ours was delayed a day. Plain Warm bread is provided daily for free as well as daily dishwasher tablets and bathroom shower gel/shampoo and soap. Amenities are excellent, dishwasher, washing machine, iron, hairdryer and tumble dryer included. Tv includes many paid for uktv channels including all sky sports. One safe is provided in the master bedroom and includes a charging plug inside. Most rooms also have a couple of uk plugs as well as european ones. We had the 10 person villa and this included 4 bathrooms. Two of which were en suites on the top floor. The garage contains a table tennis table, ball and rackets. There is also a squash ball but no rackets. We had a private pool. The pool is not heated. There is a communal pool and jacuzzi behind main reception too, they are not heated either. Overall an excellent stay. 5/5!

Lovely place but with one disappointing aspect...

The Crest is a delightful place and the villa we stayed in was amazing. The only disappointing thing about our stay was that we weren't allowed to use the communal pool. We arrived early and the villa wasn't ready. We were categorically told we weren't able to use the communal pool whilst we waited. We have four children so they were obviously disappointed and bored whilst we waited. And then on the day of check out, our flight wasn't until the evening. However once again we were told weren't able to use the communal pool!? We've stayed in a lot of places and this has never happened to us anywhere else!? It meant another long and boring day for our children waiting for our flight and not being allowed to use the communal pool. It was a real shame.

Flott leilighet med topp kvalitet (Q31). Rolig område med lite folk. Avhengig av bil. Store soverom. Badene i kjeller og 1. etasje er små og trange. Bad i 2. etasje er stort med badekar. Stuen er vel liten for 5 personer. TV’ene er små og hadde forventet større. Flott kjøkken men det manglet tropp til vasken, ingen vaskeklut og bare 2 tabletter til oppvaskmaskinen på 9 dager. Men totalt sett topp kvalitet og utstyrt leilighet.

(expensive) holiday from hell

On arriving we could hear the noise from the neighbours but weren't too bothered as everyone has the right to enjoy themselves on holiday. Unfortunately the noise grew louder and louder as the evening went on and by 11pm the music was blasting out and the shouting began. With no one in the main office we managed to find a security guard and he did go and ask them to be quiet - this lasted for all of 10 minutes the music and noise continued. We couldn't find the security guard despite walking around the complex a number of times and had to endure the noise until 5am. Staff said there was nothing they could do and there were no thoer villas ready that we could be moved to so for a few days so we had no choice but to move out and find a local hotel for our second night. If you enjoy loud music and groups of lads partying and getting drunk then this is the place for you.

Prachtig huis op mooie locatie

Prachtig huis gelegen op een mooi rustig park. Ideale plek om met de auto de Algarve te ontdekken. Vriendelijk ontvangst door de receptionist Marlon da Silva die mijn eerdere vragen per e-mail netjes en snel beantwoord heeft.

Excellent well-equited villa

The furniture and the villa are up to date and well equited. We stayed in a 5-room villa with private pool. Beach is about 10-15 min and groceries about 10 min. Everything is well organized such as late arrival and early check-out. We will definitely return soon!

Lovely stay in a beautiful and quiet area

Clean, spacious and well appointed. Beautiful and quiet area, close enough to shopping and beaches in the Algarve. You will need a car as it is 15 to 20 minute drive to beaches and shopping. Note the housekeeping is done every 3 days and you need to provide your living goods. It is an apartment style, not a hotel, so towels are not refreshed every day, but there is a washer/dryer in the apartment. We really appreciated the benefits of the apartment style living. The full size kitchen, the living room, 2 bathrooms with shower. Our apartment came with a garage but we did not use it. The living space is on 3 floors with garage and laundry room in the basement, kitchen and living room on main floor and main bedroom upstairs with its bathroom ensuite. There were a total of 3 bedrooms in the apartment. One in the basement and one on the main floor. Both were not accessible as we had booked a one bedroom apartment. So the place is very big. We stayed in a townhouse duplex and similar to other reviewers, the last night we were there, we had neighbors in the adjoining duplex and we could hear them, so it not soundproof…

Huis was netjes, fijne bedden en goede keukenapparatuur. En aantal Nederlandse tv-zenders, toch best lekker rond de feestdagen. Mooi zwembad ook en resort ligt centraal voor uitstapjes in de omgeving.

Enjoyable and relaxing.

Fantastic villa with everything you could possibly need on a self catering holiday. Beds are really comfy, spotlessly clean and very good quality linens which were changed frequently. Quiet location, secure and we'll placed as long as you have a car. Used a local taxi once which was reasonable too. Impressed the tv had English channels and all the sports channels you could want. Highly recommended for a relaxing holiday.

Ruhige, große und gut eingerichtete Wohnung

Doppelhaushälften mit Garten, guter Kücheneinrichtung, komfortabler Ausstattung, sehr sauber und gepflegt. Einziges Manko ist die Hellhörigkeit zum Nachbarhaus. Ende Oktober war wenig Betrieb, so dass es auch am Pool ruhig war. Auto ist erforderlich - Selbstversorgung. Kommen gerne wieder
