We can’t say enough about how wonderful this place is. We are experienced travellers and this hotel is a standout. Location and beach are perfect. We went to several other beaches miles away and found this beach to the best. Breakfast is very good with lots of fresh fruit and pastries. The staff were all helpful. Short drive to town with tons of restaurant choice. The room ( sea view) is a tad small but cute with a lovely view. Sad to leave.

Beautiful hotel with stunning grounds, pools and beach. We chose to swim at the beach, such a lovely setting, and the sea was warm. The pools appeared to be unheated. The rooms were quite tired for a 5 star hotel, but our garden view room was comfortable, quiet and not overlooked. The hotel was spotlessly clean throughout. The half board option was excellent value and the evening meal choice, with waiter service, fabulous. The only thing that let the hotel down was breakfast, which was very limited for a hotel of this size. The standard scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, plus cold meats and cheese, and lots of cake! The smoked salmon was very good though... Reception staff were efficient and friendly, and kindly helped us with a couple of issues during our stay. We took advantage of the useful free shuttle into Porto Cervo one day, a 2 hour visit was probably all that was needed, although we stayed longer. Plenty of parking in the hotel grounds and the road outside. We thoroughly enjoyed out three nights at the hotel, thank you Colonna Resort!

The grounds were simply breathtaking. Its own private beaches with outstanding views. Quaint library room stocked with books, multiple cozy areas with plush couches all over the hotel where one can sit and relax, multiple dining areas, beautiful pools, delicious buffet breakfast, direct access to the marina walkway bringing you to multiple restaurants, cafes and shopping. The hotel hostess, Carla, is an absolute gem and catered to our every need. Alessandro took incredible care of us at breakfast and preempted our daily coffee and tea requests :) The rooms are fine, although brittle bed sheets and not great pillows but that would not deter me from returning. Even the chamber maids made sure we had what we needed and bent over backwards to accommodate. I absolutely loved my stay and look forward to a return visit.

For the price and what they claim, not worth the money. Rooms were meh, pool was shaded and definitely gave “quiet pool” vibes. No water was provided at all(none in the gym or lobby)Guests seemed very pretentious (for no reason). There was a long list of “rules” upon check in, including that you couldn’t bring any outside food or drinks to your room. The private beach was beautiful and the chaise lounge chairs/towels were nice. On our first day, the beach attendant offered us a bottle of prosecco for 150.00 Euro. After we said no, he came back and said he could do it for 50.00. Didn’t expect negotiations on the beach menu. We would definitely chose a different resort next time.

One of the sweetest views in the planet from just about anywhere on this property. Excellent food and super helpful staff.
