Cucuron's weekly market surrounds the etang (pond) just outside the medieval heart of this beautiful town. It was the location for a famous scene in the Russell Crowe movie 'A Good Year'. #market
Gordes is very touristy and the parking is truly dreadful, but you can see why people go to the trouble...
The Pont Julien, built by the Romans in 3BC, is just down the road from Bonnieux and Roussillon. It was used for car traffic until 2005!

great affordable and borderline hip but basic hotel affiliated with student accommodation and reasonably well located to metro / bike share points / bus links in a sleepy part of town. pleasant reception staff. some decent restaurants nearby. cheap breakfast options at the counter (probably better than basic continental breakfast option). comfortable firm beds. unfortunately room was quite dusty.
