Beautifully renovated and modern room, conveniently located near the station. Enjoy stunning balcony views of the surrounding mountains and lakes. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast offers a wonderful variety with a cozy, farmhouse atmosphere. The food is delicious, the coffee selection excellent, and while check-in is self-service, the team on-site is warm and attentive throughout your stay. Loved our stay, would definitely comeback.

What a great place! Lungern is a nice, quiet town with a beautiful lake. Emma’s B&B is up on the hillside by the train station. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was brilliant and had a range of options. Would definitely recommend.

We loved this stay! The room was very clean and the view we had on the 4th floor was really nice! They put a fan in the room so that it would cool us down a bit. The breakfast was nice as well, and the staff were always very kind and helpful. The hotel is right by the train station so that was very convenient. Overall, very nice place. Thank you!

I would recommend a room here to everyone. They really have thought of everything - good parking, excellent breakfast, the room.was.spacious and spotlessly clean. They have free tea/coffee in communal space, luggage and bike storage. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Lots of lovely special touches - chocolate and bedtime story in your room. Beautifully decorated breakfast room, great coffee and crafts for sale at reasonable prices. Loved our stay.

Fantastic! The location is brilliant, just next to the Lungern train station and in a very very beautiful area. Excellent facilities, a small and chic hotel, we really enjoyed our stay at Emma's. We loved Emma’s. It was cute, quaint, quiet, safe, comfortable, and relaxing. It also had more bathroom space than you typically find in a European hotel and the bed was larger too. We had a private balcony that overlooked the lake and mountains, such a beautiful view. Breakfast in the morning had lots of options, very tasty. And the hotel had lots of cute touches like a library and coffee nook inside an old elevator. You can also store your luggage and it’s literally right next to the train station. Perfect place to stay.

Nice for a short stay

Easy quick stay one night stay in a beautiful location. New renovated, clean. Easy self check-in. Parking is easy and free in front of the hotel too. One thing they could do is to clean the waterboiler, cause it wasn’t functioning correctly anymore, because of the calcium deposits. Other than that, nice staff and great service in the morning during breakfast

Self service hotel

I liked the hotel itself and the location, however this was all self service property. When you get there, you have to use a machine to check in, there’s literally no human individual to welcome you in, not one soul. They didn’t offer clean service, at all. We stayed two nights, and though the hotel room was very nice and clean the breakfast sucked!! They only offer coffee, pastries, fruit, cheese and yogurt. I felt like blah… wouldn’t book here again. The location however was perfect for the activities that needed to be done within distance.

Right by the train station. Small rooms but enough for two people. Good shower. Clean room. View from windows is magnificent. Nice, quiet village. Away from touristy areas but you can hop on the train and go wherever you want. Not much dining options. Two nearby restaurants. One restaurant is next door closes very early and the other is down the hill so when you come back it's uphill and a bit of a walk. This one closes before 10pm. They serve breakfast at the hotel though. Nice folks. It's self check in and easy to do.

Great Location, Needs Room Improvements

Overall, my experience was good. The location was excellent, the staff were friendly, and the price was competitive with other hotels in the area. The room was spacious and the balcony was nice. However, there were some negative aspects. The pillows were very uncomfortable, so it felt like the room didn't have any pillows at all. The bed linen looked very old, and it was difficult to ventilate the room, especially without the AC. Maybe it was just my room, but I hope the manager pays attention to these issues. Despite this, I think I will come back again next year.
