"Cute hotel. Slightly dated but seems like it’s currently being renovated, so no complaints there. The pool area had a fireplace! I wanna go and swim when that’s running! The breakfast left much to be desired. I am vegan and my options were incredibly limited - the oatmeal packets seemed to be out of date (very hard packed seasoning and the oats never really “puffed up”) and I’m used to having peanut butter at hotels to get some protein and they had none. The other people in my group are not vegan and said the breakfast was generally lame. Shared my feelings on peanut butter. I was disappointed bc reviews had specifically mentioned a good breakfast."

"Building is small and old, but the rooms and lobby are updated and bed was very comfortable. Can be a little loud because the upper level has a balcony to the lower level, the noise travels. Did not take advantage of the continental breakfast"

"Great location, walking distance to downtown Chesterton which had an excellent ice cream shop and other restaurants. Easy driving distance to different parts of Indiana Dunes National Park. Host had great communication before and throughout the visit and the house had all the amenities we needed."
