Charming Log Cabin w/ Jacuzzi Tub- 35 minutes from Cooperstown and Dreams Park

"My wife and I were looking for a quiet, peaceful place to spend a few days before she undergoes a major medical procedure and boy did we hit a grand slam with this log cabin. The place is beautiful in every way. The house itself is as quaint as could be yet is fully appointed with all modern conveniences. This is not your average "cabin in the woods". The wifi was solid and the kitchen has everything you could need to cook. The heat worked perfectly, so well that we never needed to fire up the woodstove. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the jacuzzi tub, and there was plenty of hot water to fill it. The bed in the downstairs bedroom could not have been more comfortable. It's just an awesome accommodation.The area is very country...the town almost like a little Mayberry RFD in central NY. The views are spectacular, especially at this time of year with the leaves changing. Just driving the area is relaxing. There is not much in the way of shopping, so come to the cabin prepared with stuff you'll need. There is a Dollar General and a Stewarts just as you get off the highway, but that's about it...not a Walmart to be found, and that's very OK!Lastly, Peter and Bernadette, the hosts, are awesome. Great communication, lots of suggestions, and when we had a question, we heard back from them in no time flat. They also extended a very sweet consideration to us given our situation. Thanks so much folks...we will be back in the spring when she is ready to travel again!"

"The property and our room were excellent. The spacious room and bath were sparkling clean. Loved the shower gel and lotion. The front desk helped us find a suitable restaurant we could walk to for dinner. Breakfast had a large variety of choices, both hot and cold."

"We came to Cooperstown to visit the Baseball Hall of Fame Museum. Scott's charming cottage was just minutes away. It had everything we needed, was clean and very comfortable. Right next to our place was a scenic hiking trail, and had the weather been better we would have spent more time hiking. The rental was a great value, and although we had to leave a day early because of a pending Nor'easter back home in NJ, we had a great stay in Cooperstown at Scott's cottage."

"This place is in a great location.Just far enough out of town, but still close enough to get in very quickly.The city itself has a lot to do and can be bustling so a calmer place to sit on the porch or inside to relax and unwind was welcome.Don't know if I've ever stayed on a place that was so well equipped for any possibility"
