We stayed for a long weekend while my daughter danced in the Nutcracker downtown. The location was great - close to downtown, as well as biking trail by the river. We love the bagel shop! And the Christmas tree made us feel at home.
We really enjoyed our stay the National Parks Home. Everything was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Very quiet street with nice neighbors. Conveniently located, just minutes to everything!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home in the historic district of Lynchburg. The home had so much character and was restored beautifully. Our family loved our stay there and would certainly stay there again if we are back in Lynchburg!
Very nice, cozy and comfortable home in an up-and-coming charming and historical neighborhood. Was a great base camp to visit with our kids at college, walk to downtown restaurants and simply relax and enjoy. Would absolutely recommend.
The house was perfect! It has the historical charm with modern amenities. We had everything we needed and the accommodations were comfortable and spacious. The location is near downtown and we enjoyed the proximity to all the restaurants!
A really great house and we would stay here again!
This property was conveniently located in a historic area of Lynchburg only a short drive away from fun restaurants and cool historic sites like the Civil War graveyards.
We had a wonderful experience staying at this charming home located in Lynchburg's historic district. It was the perfect getaway for our couples trip, offering everything we could possibly need and more. The house was exceptionally clean, with comfortable beds and several inviting areas to relax and appreciate its beauty. We are grateful for the opportunity to stay here and will definitely return in the future.
Historic 1873 home in downtown Lynchburg that is thoroughly modern inside. 10 minutes from LU and a short drive to Main Street and restaurants. Perfect location to call home while you explore the area and all it has to offer.
We spent a night here while attending a graduation at Liberty. Everything was fantastic. The rennovations are top notch, the proximity to everythhing was graet. Beds were comfy and we had a fantastic time. Definitely will stay here again when going back to Liberty events!
Lovely tea/coffee bar. Laundry soap pods and dryer sheets were much appreciated.
Historic neighborhood was a great setting and this home was restored beautifully. Great location in proximity to downtown, and great hiking/biking trails.
My fiance and i came to Lynchburg for a wedding consult and absolutely loved our stay.
Larger than it looks! Perfect for families. Conveniently located and historical. We loved the national parks theme, too! Hopefully we will get to revisit for a longer stay to fully enjoy the area.
Really cool historic home. Enjoyed the National park theme. Everything you could need was provided.

Nice spacious, clean and beautiful house.
A few suggestions to make. The larger bathroom is huge and beautiful. Loved the shower! Just need lights over the sink. So, the first night we were there it was extremely cold outside. We could not get the house warm! I understand that it is an old house and you can feel air coming in. We left on our coats, put on extra socks and even wrapped my 83 year old mother in a scarf and blankets.
I wish someone had either set the heat up before we arrived around 5 PM or left details of how to work the remotes. I ended up googling the instructions on how to correctly use the remotes for the heat. The house was still extremely cold until the next morning after the heat was on a while and I opened the curtains for sunshine. The second night was much more pleasant!
Our family of four, plus Grandma, stayed here for a long weekend. The home is very comfortable and well stocked in kitchen and with games puzzles, etc. Beds and linens were comfy. We enjoyed the proximity to downtown and the biking trails. Host was responsive to questions. Hope to return!
My daughter and I visited my son who is attending medical school in Lynchburg. The home was just as it appears online and fully furnished with everything we needed. The beds were a highlight and so comfortable with plush linens. We hosted a brunch for a few friends, and there was plenty of room for all. Loved it, and can't wait to go back!
We greatly enjoyed our time in this charming historic home. The neighborhood is quaint and quiet. The decor is lovely and the house is very clean. There are two beds, one with a firm mattress and the other is soft. (The upstairs master bathroom does get a little chilly in the morning.) Cozy study nook upstairs was perfect for work or school. We loved the variety of dining options that were so close by. The owners were very responsive and friendly. Highly recommend!
We loved our stay so much. We moved our daughter into her dorm at Liberty, and this home was such a little oasis while we were in Lynchburg. We loved all the historical charm of the home. So many cute fireplaces all throughout the house! Beautiful details that only come with old homes. I must say the king bed in the master bedroom was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. We would definitely love to stay here again.
This is a great home. Old home that has been very tastefully redone. Love the old charm mixed with the modernization. Very clean, comfortable place. The beds are super comfy. We came to town to visit LU with our daughter (17) and son came along as well (13). We all were impressed with the house. The neighborhood is an older one where some of the homes have been redone and some are still needing some work. But it’s in a great location to downtown, LU , and some of the other colleges in the area as well. We would stay here again.
We had a little trouble with the door lock upon arrival, but that was quickly resolved with a phone call. The house was very comfortable. The neighborhood was beautifully quiet. I would happily stay here again if coming to this area. The home was stocked with everything necessary. I highly recommend this property.
What a treat to stay in a beautiful historic home! This house has everything you need for a comfortable and easy getaway. The beds (even the pull out sofa) are very comfortable and the bedding is beautiful and cozy. The kitchen is well stocked and easy to cook in. Our favorite part was the porch. We spend a lot of time sitting out there and enjoying the beautiful historic neighborhood views. Our son is planning to attend Liberty University so we will definitely stay here again when we visit him!
The bagel shop down the street was a fantastic bonus too!
This home has been beautifully renovated. It is so charming. It was a great location for me as I visited my mother who lives off of Rivermont Ave. The bed was so comfortable, I could have slept forever. I so appreciated the snacks in the kitchen. I had a very long day on my check-in day, so they ended up being my dinner. I had everything I needed, including coffee with creamer and sugar, shampoo, conditioner and body wash.
We had a great time staying at this beautiful house in downtown Lynchburg! The house was very well maintained, nicely decorated and very clean! The kitchen had everything you could need for a weekend away. The only improvement which I would suggest is that gravel driveway had a very steep bump to get up in our VW Golf and could possibly use a curb corrector. But it was easily avoided since there was street parking on the other side of the house. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and recommend staying here to anyone visiting Lynchburg!
