"A lovely location with full use of the grounds which we greatly enjoyed, strolling with our dog around the pond and the meadow and sitting out in the secluded garden when the weather permitted. The house was comfortable and well equipped, and best of all, peaceful. The house is well located for visiting the countryside and north coast of Devon. A slight quibble, in that, on a cold wet first day, the house was not warm enough, but that was quickly remedied with the owners, who were very helpful...

"Luccombe Cottage ist einfach traumhaft - wunderschönes Ferienhaus in traumhafter Lage. Es war alles blitzsauber und liebevoll vorbereitet. Allein der Blick aus dem Fenster jeden Morgen ist die Reise wert. Auch die Umgebung hat viel zu bieten, Wanderungen im Exmoor vorbei am wilden Ponys, die Nähe zu verschiedenen Stränden, kleine Hafenstädte…einfach schön! Auch die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern war sehr nett, auf jede Frage kam sofort Antwort. We hope to be back!"

"The property is well situated for exploring Exmoor, both on foot and by car. A short walk takes you to Exford where there are 2 pubs and a teashop(the hub for star gazing nights on a Thursday). There is also a fantastic playground on the green. We were welcomed with home baked bread, spreads and a delicious cake. The cottage has everything, even towels for our dog.
