"Absolutely amazing property! We loved everything, and overall, the immaculate staff in every department. So friendly, helpful, smily. Beautiful people. And the hotel itself, so much history at every corner! We used several restaurants and amenities and all was perfect. Special mention to Daudi in the 5th floor bar/restaurant by the pool. He made our evernings special with his unique and so professional and enjoyable personality. Thanks for everything. 100% recommended"

"I’ve stayed at the Fairview many times over two decades of traveling to Nairobi. It was recently updated, which was a plus. But the soaps throughout the hotel are very sticky — low quality so bring your own soap. The staff is a consistently excellent - old school Nairobi. The one issue I always have with this hotel however is that it’s cold. If you’re planning to stay here, ask for an extra blanket or bring some warm clothing. Nairobi in general is pretty chilly evening time and this is a historic hotel with a lot of open breezeways for hallways. If you want to have an authentic Kenyan safari type experience this is the hotel for it."

"This was a great hotel and I enjoyed my stay. The room was great, probably the biggest hotel room I have ever been in. The staff was great and very helpful. My only complaint is that the food in the breakfast buffet was never hot even when it had just been brought out from the kitchen."
