"The property description on Expedia is incorrect. This tea house does not offer rooms with private bathrooms. Their nicest rooms offer an attached squat toilet with a bucket of water. "I stayed here for 4 weeks between 2 trips to Everest Base Camp. It was a perfect base for exploring the surrounding Khumbu region and Namche village. My hosts were friendly and went out of their way to make sure I was well fed, cared for and recovering from my adventures. The rooms were clean, the food great and atmosphere welcoming. I hope to return one day and stay there again."

"Elegant hotel with caring, professional staff. Clean rooms, electric blankets, classy lines and decor. Yeti Mountain Home is THE standard for the region.
