"If you're looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway then this is it! The house itself was immaculate, not to mention the waterfront location and private beach. The house was equipped with anything and everything you would need. Traveling with our 11 month old, we especially appreciated the full-sized crib and highchair. "The property at Grand Lake Stream was exactly as advertised. It was clean, plenty big enough and the setting simply could not have been better. Even during a cooler than usual late August, we were in the water every day (don’t forget your water shoes, you’ll need them). The kayaks and canoes were great, and the fire pit was the highlight at the end of virtually every day—a mere 20-feet from water’s edge. A wonderful spot, with incredibly responsive hosts"

"The house was located in a beautiful spot in Downeast Maine. The house was truly better than the pictures on the site! It was immaculate and decorated beautifully! it was generously supplied with all you could need and more. There were beautiful views from the many large windows. I loved all the gorgeous plants throughout the house. I took several walks around the neighborhood to view the many inlets and changing coastline ....so beautiful !!! The property manager was great at communicating...

"PERFECT, PERFECT, PERFECT. Excellent lakefront property. Hoise is well loved and cared for. Very clean. Plenty of outdoor area to run around. The penisula is a great spot for morning sunrises and catching some photos of loons. Many kayaks to enjoy time on the lake, laumch right fromt the beach. Plenty of indoor activities as well. The owners thought of everything when preparing the home for vacationers. There was not one time cooking that we didnt have what we needed. Kitchen is well stocked...

"We visit our son in Maine every year and this has been the best stay so far, the house is so beautiful and very clean. It is stocked with anything anyone could need. The beds are very comfortable, the sheets are top notch (I am very picky about my sheets..lol ) love that it had a washer/dryer, that sure did come in handy. This rental sure felt like home.. JUST PERFECT!!!! Oh and lets not forget the lovely back deck with a grill... the deer and turkey visit everyday. It sure was hard to leave,...

"We had a very nice stay. The view of the inlet with all the lobster boats was beautiful. We enjoyed the dock/water access as well - our kids were able to spend some time fishing and even waded in the water. The drive is a little far to Acadia (a little over an hour) but we were still able to use the rental home as a base for visiting the National Park."

"We loved stargazing from the deck - amazing night sky (especially with binoculars)! The cabin was very comfortable and had adequate supplies for cooking basic meals. The location is VERY remote, which we frequently look for. A mid-point for exploring both Acadia/Bar Harbor and the Bold Coast - Quoddy Head, Lubec, Western Head Preserve and East Port."
