This was away from the more touristy areas, but was very accessible to all parts of the city. The metro was close, there were a lot of shops and a variety of places to eat. We were able to walk to Bernabeu stadium, walk to very nice restaurants and thoroughly enjoy our stay. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They were able to call a taxi for us to the airport. I would stay here again. There were a lot of stairs, which weren't a problem for us, but if that's a concern, request a first floor room. They cleaned our room daily, including clean towels. I loved our stay!

Fantastic hostal

Helpful and friendly staff, clean and comfortable room at a very good price. Excellent quality and value for money and would 100% stay here again. The walls were a little bit thin to the neighbouring rooms but I had no real issues.

Came with my lad to watch the Real Madrid game and stayed here for 3 nights, I was abit worried when I seen the reviews saying you could hear other people being noisy in the other rooms, it was absolutely perfect there was no noise at all, within a 10 min walk to the stadium and plenty of food places on your doorstep, the staff was really helpful couldn’t fault this place at all, really good if your on a budget too

It's great for backpackers. It's cheap and has only basics. Location is convenient for people who don't mind walking 10 to 15 minutes to public transportation. Plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby. One or 2 desk staff speaks English well enough, but all of them try to communicate.

Perfect place to stay in Madrid!

I knew it would be a decent stay because of how good rated it was, but it was better than expected! Had a shared bathroom but they always cleaned there so it was really comfortable knowing that most surfaces were clean. 24/7 service, i mean.. thats awesome. Kind and friendly personel! Came here to watch Real Madrid but man, it was so central and close to everything! Really happy with my stay, i really do recommend.

Room was very clean and spacious but uncomfortable mattress and ground floor room next to a public toilet/bathroom. Requested a quiet high floor room which I didn’t get as Hostal was full. Room noisy at night too! Location is good but not for more than 2 nights.

Clean, conveniently located and reasonably priced, its only problem are the paper-thin walls, so bring with you your earplugs because you will hear people chatting and enjoying themselves (reasonably priced = many young guests) until 12 am and later!
