Location is excellent. Walkable to anywhere for sightseeing, shopping and dining. Only thing is the building is old, so even though it’s nicely updated inside, you hear someone talking in next room, and all plumbing sounds. The room was comfortable although it was tiny, so I had to open up my 27” tall suitcase on the bathroom floor, but there was an electric kettle with good drip coffee and some tea selections.

We enjoyed our 4 night stay. Location is very central as it’s on Gran Via but also only a 10 minute walk to Plaza Mayor. Felt safe walking around the surrounding area both early morning and late at night. Our room was excellent, spacious and very clean. Housekeeping was friendly and helpful. I didn’t give 5 stars as the front desk were effective but could’ve been friendlier since they are the face of the establishment. The one front desk guy didn’t even look up when I asked him a question.

The front desk was very rude, they placed us underneath a room that was undergoing massive construction early the morning and all day. It was not a good experience, but they did move us our last day there.

Breakfast was great for the price with many options. The room was not ready when we arrived just after check-in time so they apologized and held our bags when we went out to eat. When we returned, in compensation, they gave us a suite which was lovely - a living room with sofa and desk and chair, and coffee tables, and spacious bedroom and bathroom.
