"Overall, I enjoyed my stay here. There are some things that can be improved.
All of the staff I interacted with were very nice. I have nothing but positives about the staff. The area the hotel is located in looks a little scary at night. Not well lit, people wandering the streets. However, the parking lot is gated and there were no homeless people wandering near the gate. I felt safe enough.
The room looked super clean, however there were a few issues. I found the heating\cooling unit to be frustrating to use. Even with instructions, It was annoying.
The floor tiles in the room were cold AF. I could not walk around without at least socks on. The HVAC unit faced away from the bathroom which meant no heat went into the bathroom at all. The floor tiles there were even colder. I found the shower controls awkwardly placed. You can not turn the shower on without getting hit by a blast of cold water because you have to lean your upper body into the direct path of the shower head to turn the water on. Lastly, the window coverings let in a lot of light in the morning. There is no way to have a fully dark room in the morning as there are no drapes. A ton of light gets in from around the shades, especially from the bathroom. It woke me up.
That said, the bed was incredibly comfortable. The room was styled in a charming way. The breakfast offering was really good.
Despite the room issues, I really like this property and would not hesitate to stay there again. I recommend it.

"Room was worn down and furniture was stained. Carpet was lifting in certain areas and smelled of mildew. Guests were very loud coming in at 2am and yelling through the halls. No one was present at the front desk to assist with complaints. The staff, on the other hand, was very nice upon arrival and the lobby made the property appear very cute and inviting. "
"Our stay went pretty well. We requested to be moved to a different room due to the smell of the other room. The clerk was very kind in acknowledging our request. "
Inn at Santa Fe, SureStay Collection by Best Western
8/10 Good
"Breakfast menu was adequate, fresh and well maintained. The woman in charge of breakfast was friendly. The woman who was at the desk when we arrived was nice. The man who checked us in was okay until we had a problem with the tv. I called and advised of the issue. He said be right down. After 45 minutes we went out for dinner, advised him the tv would not turn on. Came back to the tv on and a remote battery area broken. All in all it was adequate, would probably stay again for the price. "
"Great hotel from 1936! Wonderful beds and good hot shower. Great coffee in the morning and the breakfast from the food truck was actually excellent. Only complaint is the pool was not open (March 1st). Understand the weather is all over the place in Santa Fe, but would have made it the perfect stay. "
