The Lion Hotel Shrewsbury
Check-in was simple, parking only £5 for the night, found our room on the second floor, overlooking the road. Room was spacious, clean and tidy, it was quiet warm in the room. Slept ok until the road noise kicked in and the collection of bins full of bottles from the nearby bars.

Porter's lodge by heritage Railway line (adjoining Station House)
Staying on a platform with occasional steam trains passing by. Wonderful experience. Cottage is well equipped and close to Llangollen and Corwen for shops. Secluded Detached Stable / Barn Conversion On The Border Of Shropshire And Wales
The Stable was a fantastic stay, really clean and the hosts were really welcoming. The Stables is secluded but well worth the drive to it. It was so quiet and peaceful and the log fire a really welcome bonus that made for a very cosy stay.
