"Well done Econo Lodge, Socorro, NM. You can tell the owners take pride in what they do. Staff was friendly and efficient. The property exterior was well kept and had a green space for dogs. Comfy bed with quality bedding/pillows. Very clean and updated rooms, Also love that the bathroom had full size shampoo/cond, bodywash and lotion vs the small little bottles. I was tempted to stay an extra night rather than continue my road trip. The only complaint I have was that the tub didn't drain very well. Otherwise 5 stars all day long."

"We had a beautiful stay in Gila, it was great being so close to the Dwellings area and I loved waking up each day to the forest and the hummingbirds that came to drink from the feeder's hanging around the property. The home was large with plenty of small decorative items (be mindful of this is if you have small children). The hosts were wonderful and shared their backyard trampoline and the goats freely with my children. I failed to notice in the description that there is no air conditioning which was challenging but the host does provide fans for each room which were wonderful. We loved our stay and would definitely return"
