They only serve meals at certain times. No bar. Everything was extra extra like spa, happy hour, pools, etc. Very overpriced for the quality of the hotel.

All the staff are very friendly and accommodating. You can ask them with directions and tours. The location is the best. Very centrally located. Very clean as well. The only thing is that the taxi will not take you to the front of the hotel because it's a walking zone. It's about 5 minutes walk. But other than that, it's the best stay in Rome. Me and my husband were very happy with our stay. Danny gave us the room with the balcony. Plus it is few minutes walk to Spanish Steps and local restaurants. I really recommend this hotel. Very happy with my stay.

Unfortunately, our stay at Hotel Splendide Royal Roma did not meet our expectations. The front-desk staff came across as quite snooty and unwelcoming, and our room had a very unpleasant musty smell. I understand that this is a historic hotel, but considering the price guests are paying, the hotel should invest in better ventilation, high-quality diffusers, or another solution to keep the rooms smelling fresh.
We were also disappointed to discover that there is no swimming pool or spa at the hotel. Guests may use these facilities at the sister hotel, approximately 20 minutes away, but there is an additional charge of €40 per person on weekends and €18 per person on weekdays. I believe this should be clearly explained to guests upon arrival—or, preferably, before booking.
Overall, we were not impressed with the service, facilities, or value. Sadly, we would not return.

We absolutely loved our stay here! It was the perfect place for our first few days in Rome.
The location was amazing — we were able to walk almost everywhere and were so close to so many of the main sights, restaurants, cafés, and everything we wanted to experience. It made exploring Rome so easy.
Our room was beautiful, comfortable, and such a nice place to come back to after long days walking around the city. The staff were also incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay and made us feel very welcome.
We had such a great experience here and would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Rome. We would definitely stay again!
