"Gave us the wrong room initially but corrected. Large room & bathroom, nice pool to cool off in. Great staff. Nearby Beach Club is right on the beach & excellent "

"We thought we had booked a 4 bedroom villa but it was 4 rooms with on suites opening out onto a verandah by a small pool. Host appeared to be booking rooms individually.Communication through stayz with host was dreadful. Host didn’t reply to 3 messages over 24 hours. Had to ring stayz several times. When 3 of us arrived he said he had already booked 2 rooms and had no record of our booking. I think it was a language barrier. When with him face to face he was very nice and tried to accommodate us. Gave us a welcome drink.He tried to help us find alternate accommodation. It was also difficult for driver to find. Down small lanes and in amongst a residential area. Stayz were very good although I spent hours on the phone. I got a full refund. "

"Rooms were very clean and very roomy. Pool was lovely but cool built on shaded side of buildings. Little further out than I thought. Restaurant was handy and okay for food or drinks."

"Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was clean with a nice bathroom and warm showe. A/C was great. Top location right in the centre of Fort too"

"I nearly wanted to provide one star if not for them upgrading the room. The room had 3 large cockroaches that fly. I injured my palm while hitting one. There were many other insects and spiders too. After they upgraded us, the TV in the room couldn’t work. The breakfast was limited and tasteless. The location was not ideal. Should get one inside Galle Fort. "
