"Review for IntercityHotel Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof Süd The bathroom was unacceptable upon arrival — there was excrement in the toilet, human hair on the seat, in the shower, and in the sink, and the bathroom floor was covered in urine splatter. While the bed appeared made, once we opened it we found dirt smudges on the sheets. We immediately reported this and requested a new room. We were told to wait for a manager, but no one ever followed up. During our five-night stay, we requested cleaning twice and no one came. We were in Frankfurt for work and did not have the flexibility to relocate, so we ended up purchasing cleaning supplies and cleaning the room ourselves. We also contacted Expedia for assistance, but were told a move was against policy and were offered only a $50 credit toward future travel. Overall, this was a very disappointing and unacceptable experience. Avoid this property unless absolutely necessary. "

"We arrived early and although the room was ready, they charged us an “Early check-in Fee”. This is the first hotel I’ve ever stayed in and checked in earlier that did that. It involved no effort on their behalf e.g. expediting room cleaning, so it is just a shameless money grab. Check the other FRA hotels first to see if they have this fee if you’re arriving earlier before booking here. "
