Hotel conveniently located 5 minutes walk from Mainz Hbf. Quiet street. Very friendly staff, particularly the Brazilian lady who worked at breakfast buffet. She was very kind + added a personal touch in the mornings.

Great hotel in centre of Mainz

It was late when I got to Mainz but the hotel was easy to find and check in was quick and easy. Room was spot on for my time in the city. Everything was within walking distance and the main station is close by so getting anywhere by bus, tram or train is very easy

Very comfortable stay. Friendly staff, good breakfast, high quality linens, comfortable bed, easy check in and out. Good location, short walk to train station and easy walk to centre. Quiet area at night, felt safe. Would return.

Convenient location for walking to Christmas markets. Very helpful staff. Unusual frosted glass bathroom doors provide less privacy. Parking is offsite in nearby public parking garage.

Great affordable option for Mainz.

The family room was great. I loved the two bedrooms. The shower was small but it was ok, there was a bit of mold, which I’ve come to get used to in Germany. I was so grateful for their awesome AC because it was very warm outside. It works well and it’s quiet. It is only in the main room though so we had to leave the doors open so the second room could cool down as well. The highlight was the breakfast, they had typical German choices but also warm scrambled eggs and bacon and a really cool machine the kids enjoyed using which made fresh pancakes. They also had Prosecco on the weekend which was nice to make a mimosa. The mattresses were firm but not uncomfortable and it seems that they have recently remodeled so the rooms are pretty and clean. My kids accidentally spilled something on the carpet and I grabbed some hotel towels to scrub it and the towel remained white which was nice to see. Parking was a bit difficult but it’s really close to the main train station, supermarkets, and a bank. The park across the street was nice to reach the river which was a nice 10-15 minute walk. The only problem was the part of the park immediately in front of the hotel had a lot of drifters and people drinking and sleeping on the playground equipment which made us avoid that part of the park.

The hotel was fine, but I forgot some things in the room which were never "recovered," meaning that whomever entered the room after I left, decided to keep my stuff. I was very disappointed with that. If you are sure you won't forget stuff, it's a fine place.

Nice hotel One major issue. Construction work everywhere! Water is off during the day. Wish they would have said something before going to the bathroom! Also, no onsite parking. None. Down the street you can go to a parking garage.

Stay away - No privacy - Doors cannot be locked

This was the first time I stayed at this particular hotel. Not going beat around the bush, here are negatives that are the reason for my ratings: - WiFi might as well not be provided, its that bad. I travelled for work but I could not get any work done because the WiFi disconnects ever 5 seconds - On the first day I asked for an Iron and it could not be provided because there were none left. Didn't bother me too much as I had some other clothes I could wear. On the second day I did get an iron but I was in the bathroom when a staff member knocked on my door. Instead of waiting, they actually just opened the door and walked in! I had to tell them to stay outside and then they closed the door and left. I have been travelling on business for years now and this has never happened! What is the point of even 'locking' the door if someone can just walk in? I don't recommend anyone staying at this hotel
