Felicity is breathtaking. We always end our vacations on the water, and this villa did not disappoint. After a very busy week exploring Milan, Venice, Rome, and Florence, Maiori gave us exactly what we needed, a full week of downtime to relax and recharge. Its laid back, hometown feel was the perfect contrast to the fast pace of the cities, and it was everything we were hoping for.
Giorga was the best host. She was incredibly responsive, warm, and helpful, always ready to share her expertise about the area. She also has many local connections, so if there’s something special you want to experience during your stay, just reach out. Her suggestions, truly are the best. There are 240 steps to reach this villa, be prepared, but it’s worth every single step.
The villa overlooks the Tyrrhenian Sea and features a large balcony with stunning views. Many nights we were surprised by fireworks along the coast, and we had the perfect vantage point to enjoy them. The private pool was refreshing during the day and was beautiful to watch the sunset and admire the lights along the coastline at night.
The property has a dock by the sea and a beach at the bottom of the property. Having direct access to the sea made the stay feel even more special.
The town is small and about a 10‑minute walk from the villa but has most everything you will need from seaside restaurants, a market, clothing stores, fruit and veggie stands and delicious lemon sorbet. Our family is looking forward to another visit
