"I don't often leave reviews but this hotel is exceptional. The owner showed me to the room and explained all the facilities. The room itself was huge, beautifully clean and with the wonderful quirk of still resembling a school classroom. Some previous guests had even left messages on the blackboards. I made use of both the Jacuzzi and the separate shower, and enjoyed the cooked breakfast which was brought to my room in the morning. I didn't make use of the complimentary popcorn and DVD selection...

"I very much enjoyed staying at this cabin. It was clean, comfortable & close to the Shawnee National Forest & the Wine Trail. The bed & furniture were comfortable. The kitchenette allowed me to have all meals in, as it has a half-refrigerator, microwave, sink, coffeemaker, plates, glasses & mugs. "I would definitely recommend this cabin for all events and all gatherings it's cozy, beautiful property, clean and I felt like home... we came Illinois to visit our grandkids we brought them to the property they had a great time we were able to go see Giant City Park we had a wonderful time 10 out of 10 five stars will be staying again next time."
