"We were in town for a softball tournament and decided to try a different hotel. We really enjoyed the property. The rooms are huge and we'll appointed. The staff was friendly as well. Unfortunately our room wasn't cleaned but that wasn't the end of the world. I got fresh towels from the front desk. In addition, our bed was horrible and definitely needs replacement. Finally it was not clear when the restaurant is open. But we found the hotel a nice surprise and we'll stay there again. "

"Casa Velasco is in a great location near shops and restaurants and within walking distance to the Malecon. The staff are very responsive and check in and out is very smooth even without a physical check in desk. Would go back next time."

"1. Front desk staff interactions were just OK, not particularly friendly. 2. The water stopped working in the room, but it was fixed after reporting it. 3. Asked for slippers, but they were never delivered; had to go and ask again in person. 4. Disturbance from loud kitchen activity/maintenance directly above on the 4th floor between 2 AM and 3 AM. (Problem only on the 4th floor, not on lower ones.) 5. Rooftop hotel restaurant pool was under maintenance, but guests were weren't notified and it was closed. 6. Rooms are equipped with Amazon Echo devices, raising significant cybersecurity concerns regarding potential voice and video access. 7. No coffee machine or refrigerator offered in the room, meaning no cold drinks provided either."

"This place was perfect, BUT the beds, they have to upgrade beds to something more comfortable and dreamy, beds were hard to where we didn’t sleep and our bodies were hurting. Other than that this place was amazing!"

"The apartment was fully stocked with everything. The view was amazing, the jacussi on the roof with ocean view was amazing the apartment was amazing but the city and neighbourhood was amazing. Kind and safe. "
