"This place is in walking distance to the Malecon which is the main strip. Literally 2 blocks away. It’s quiet, it had a nice little bar with a great bartender (Luis) that knows his drinks. "We loved staying at Casa al Mar! We were in an ocean-view suite. Very spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a balcony overlooking the Malecon. Not the quietest room as it's right above the hustle and bustle of La Paz's main drag, but super-fun in a perfect location to take in all that La Paz has to offer. The lobby and courtyard are so warm, relaxing, and welcoming, and the staff is great. Highly recommend! "

"We liked the common areas of this property, and it felt like a retreat, sitting on the shaded patio looking at the pool. Beautifully decorated with nautical items. Very artistically done. Our room was too small to even place one suitcase. They need to remove some decorations to make it more practical to place simple travel gear. They also need to add a reading light. We appreciated being able to leave our bags with reception for several hours."
