We mentioned it was our honeymoon and were surprised with a complimentary room upgrade and romantic setup. The resort’s location made it easy to walk to the beach and town each evening. "Really liked the hotel facilities. Food was really good, especially breakfast, and meat and desserts were delicious. Also had drinks on tap all day eg soft drinks and coffee. Staff were really helpful and efficient. Also area around the hotel was nice with several interesting shops and cafes in close proximity. Easy to get to and from Heraklion via buses 1 to Heraklion and 6 back to the hotel. Both stops very close to the hotel. Its a very interesting city. Also really close proximity to the beach, just past the bar. I'd definitely recommend staying here. "
