"Overall, enjoyed all aspects of property. Food was good, but not excellent, could be improved. Happy Hour was a bit of a misnomer...offered one special drink at same prices and no snacks."

"The Fiji Gateway hotel exceeded my expectations as the 2 pools were great, the restaurant staff and food were lovely, the reception staff were friendly and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is a 400m flat walk from the airport and there is a free shuttle. However, there are not many shops nearby."

"Wonderful place, ideal for a honeymoon or a relaxing vacation. Staff were amazing and made us feel like family, specially Silipa and Serai. Shout out to Jim (manager) which cares about customers and knows the names of most guests. Property is very well maintained and clean. Spa is great too. Coral reef and fish populations are very biodiverse. We will come back!"

"We spent a couple nights at Malolo Island Resort on our first trip to Fiji! It was spectacular:)) From the beginning, where staff received us at the pier, to the end where they sent us off, we can’t say enough!! The entire place feels welcoming, organized, and well-maintained. It’s so well designed and has all the things an island should offer. The family bures are super clean and comfortable. They’ve thought of the little things that make your stay easy (water to wash your feet, places to hang wet clothes, extra blanket storage). The food is great, and I’d highly recommend the meal plan or it will be pricey (especially for a family with two teens!). The staff make the stay next level. They’re friendly, engaging, helpful and super hospitable. We needed short notice jet ski arrangements—they made it happen and our boys had an amazing couple of hours around the area:)) We kayaked and snorkeled (beyond amazing fish to see). Wished we’d stayed longer! We moved around a lot to get an idea of what we liked in Fiji, and this would be a must-do when we come back. Well worth the money! Can’t say enough about the staff—they are the heart of this place:))"
