Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly place. This 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom property is great for relaxing. Located right on the Muskingum River with a beautiful waterfront view. Outdoor deck is great for cooking on the grill, and entertaining. Tv and wifi for after hour relaxation. Fishing is allowed with Ohio Fishing License. Firepit for great conversation! Pets are welcome!

The house was ok. Make sure to bring stuff to do. The WiFi is terrible. No service at all. The house is located on the river which was wonderful. Furniture in the house was pretty uncomfortable.

Cute, river front home.

My husband, my mother, my pups and I stayed here. Pet friendly, plenty of room, and amenities. When I had a question the owner was quick and friendly with her responses. Clean property. I would definitely stay here again!

Peace and quiet

We stayed here for a fishing vacation. Being right on the river was great. It was quiet and peaceful. The owners had kayaks, corn hole, a hot tub and indoor games too. They left us plenty of towels and cleaning supplies. The cooking pots and pans were minimal, but we made it work. I loved the big table. The home has good common areas that flow nicely. The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.

Nice little place, but missed some the mark on a few things

Overall, it was a good stay. It was well kept, and clean. The hot tub though wasn't working correctly, it was only 77 when we arrived and 84 the following morning, so it was a bit disappointing to the kids. The kitchen was nice, but no microwave. The propane wall heater was nice, but the heat didn't spread much to the main bedroom, instead made the upstairs very warm. Cell service made it difficult to contact the host at first, I think At&t was having issues.

Early Anniversary

Loved being on the river. Decks were great for relaxing and enjoying the water front. Unfortunately we had to leave a night earlier than planned due to a river flood warning and storms. I would recommend a microwave, a dresser or closet of some kind and a saucepan. House was clean and new inside.

Nice place on the river

Was surprised that the only heating options were space heaters placed throughout the house. There was a propane heater in the living room but we had some challenges getting it started. It says that there are two parking spaces but if you have a truck you will only be able fit one vehicle. There is only a door on the down stairs bedroom the two upstairs are open to each other so not a lot of privacy if there are more than one couple there. It did have a nice view of the river and deck off the back.

Memories were definitely made...

For the good: We had a great time. The rock over the river was fantastic for the kids and balcony looking over was very helpful for grandparents to still be involved. Literal size of cabin was nice for 4 adults, 2 kids, and a dog!For the not so good: cabin says it sleeps 6. It did, with 3 queen beds. However, there were only 4 chairs at the table, 5 forks, 2 coffee cups....and no bathroom door! It was a half shower curtain in a room off of the kitchen. There was technically a door from the kitchen to the area but it was broken and didn't stay latched. Upstairs bedrooms had no doors, either. Worked out ok because we were a family but could leqd to some awkward arrangements for others. The septic tank stunk horribly. The house was not clean. We understand that the location may attract some unwanted insects but the dead bugs in every window sill and floor corner was ...a lot.We definitely made some memories here...

The setting is beautiful. There isn't much parking. We barely fit a pi kup truck and a compact car in. It's listed as pet friendly, but there is no yard. The home itself was okay.Some of the flooring was loose. and the propane heater was not working, so it got pretty cold in the living room.

Great clean accommodations!

Really enjoyed the accommodations and the check in / out process was hassle free. Great communication from host. Fishing sucked but it had nothing to do with the property. The cars really fly up and down the two-lane road so be careful with little ones or dogs. I look forward to staying here again!!

Very relaxing

The cabin was clean, and the air conditioning great. It rained but the covered deck made it possible to sit outside and relish in the beautiful views of the river. We saw an eagle fly overhead and land in a tree across the river. Was quite surprised that there wasn't more wildlife. Spiders (brown recluse and others) and wasps were a bit of a nuisance, the deck and outside area could use a good sweeping. Overall...it was just what we needed, a nice place to kick back, relax and enjoy the outdoors. Thank you !!!

Very relaxing

Everything was great. We had a wonderful time. Only thing is maybe have someone do a once over for spiders on the inside. Didn't bother us to takecare of them but some people might not care for it. But other than that we had a amazing time.

The pictures are not represenative of the property. It is filthy and run down. Its is right on the water, but NOT pet friendly. There is no yard- the yard that is in the pics is not this property and we were told to stay off the small lawn, which left only a 3ft x 20ft section of yard on the side of the house. There is only the area of one parking spot until you get to the very fast road, and no fence or gate or anything for the dogs so they literally had to be on leash in a tiny little space to go potty and otherwise locked inside. Also the wifi was out more that it was on and the hot tub doesnt have any massaging jets, just bubbles. The bugs/mosquotos are horrendous, worse than ive ever seen in my life, we couldnt even enjoy the e lvening outside...we left after 2 nights of 5, but they did refund us for the 3 nights we didnt stay and they were quick to respond to us so I do appreciate that.

Bug motel.

Property was not cleaned dead bugs and giant healthy spiders in the house making it their home. We left the day after arriving will not be coming back. Couch completely stained with unknown substances. I would like a refund because my wife had a massive panic attack from the spiders and left at 830am saturday morning stayed 1 night and that was all we could handle. Do not recommend.

Upon arrival, we found the deck infested with spiders, my husband treated, swept,and blew off the deck twice, yet they kept comin down everywhere. I had actually I guided with the owner prior to staying about the spiders and she said it wasn’t an issue…. They sure are! The inside was not bad still lots of spider webs and spiders found which made me uneasy to crawl into bed or use any blankets etc. speaking of blankets the sheets on our bed had what appeared to be a blood stain on it. I’m glad I brought my own linens. The couches are uncomfortable to sit, the kitchen is well stocked however the ice maker does not work. No door on bathroom. Oven door looks horrible. Couldn’t use the hot tub, couldn’t get straps off for fear of breaking them… but that’s ok cause I was more worried about the spiders. Had the small area to fish roped off with no trespass, when I reached out to owner I never received a clear response if we could fish there. Cinder blocks for stairs to rock which is dangerous, cinder blocks and lots of debris in water which made fishing difficult and that’s what we came to do! I would not stay again

Accurate description, except parking was pretty tight. Beautiful scenery, very peaceful location. Tub was great, local folks are super friendly, kitchen was well appointed, bed in master was very comfortable. I went for P&Q and found it. I intended to fish, but didn't really get around to it, but the fish were jumping. Made new friends at the local Moose lodge. Great place to stay for a decompression weekend. Would be great for a quiet romantic escape as well.
