"It would have been better if the night life was later. 11:00 pm everything is closed. I booked because i saw that they have a night club but there was no club ."

"Very tranquil rustic getaway in the hillside above Nelson's Dockyard in English Harbor. Private cottage rooms interconnected by walkways in the canopy of trees and flowers. Stunning views, free breakfast and relaxed vibe. Etched into a hillside just above the main drag and yacht club. Owner Robert Potter is always there to guide guests and make helpful suggestions for restaurants or arrange taxis."

"Excellent check in process, nice property, very clean, great AC in the bedroom. Very quiet and secluded, really reminded me of a cottage. Not much around that you can walk to but overall it was a really nice spot with excellent hosts."

Escape at Nonsuch Bay Antigua - All Inclusive - Adults Only
8/10 Good
"9/10 ⭐️
Beautiful, peaceful, secluded resort with amazing staff!
We had a wonderful time on our honeymoon at Escape at Nonsuch Bay!
The staff was amazing. The concierge, restaurant, housekeeping, and transportation teams all went above and beyond.
We loved having our own private pool and giant soaking tub in our suite.
You also have access to the resort’s private, secluded beach, just a five-minute free shuttle ride away. It has a small bar with light food, and drinks both complimentary. A major plus!
All the food was fresh and tasty, but some options felt basic for an all-inclusive resort. We would have liked more elevated choices and Caribbean dishes. Some premium options, such as steak and lobster required an additional fee.
Some weekend group activities would have been appreciated . The atmosphere is geared toward couples and relaxation, with more of a “stay to yourself” feel, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing.
Because of the resort’s remote location, exploring other beaches and parts of Antigua requires a taxi or rental car, so transportation costs can add up.
Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would absolutely recommend Escape at Nonsuch Bay. The beautiful property, private beach, private pools, and wonderful staff made our stay unforgettable .
We’ll definitely be back! 🌴❤️
Note: Getting around the resort requires walking up/down short hills and steps. We enjoyed the daily walks, but this could be challenging for some guests."
"Galley bay is a place that when you get there, it exceeds the pictures! It was absolutely beautiful. Most of the main staff was extremely helpful, the only small issue we had was the staff that tended the bars were sometimes very snobby and made it feel like we were bothering them when we asked for drinks. Other than that it was paradise!"
"Vintage type property which doesn’t take away from the elegance, however foul smells are present when walking to and from rooms, water pressure in bathroom is good and hot, soaps are good towels are ages and have been in use for a while. WiFi on the property is excellent, barely any dead zones. Food is ok, wide enough variety however the flies and birds can get annoying while enjoying your meal and it is open air seating so it gets hot. Shops aren’t very close but a taxi can get you to and from the town quickly. Not many activities on the resort and it’s more laid back and quiet if that’s what you like, I was fine with relaxing. Mini fridge was always stocked and included with stay. Not all rooms have a tv so plan accordingly. Beds are comfortable and the views are amassing, it is a hilly resort so a lot of ramps and stairs to get from the rooms to the front desk and to the buffet. Overall the property is good, it needs renovations in the restrooms available to the public, more water stations outside of the buffet would be good, I didn’t tour the entire property so not sure if there were, staff is very pleasant and accommodating. I would stay again with the knowledge I have now, also it rains every other hour it seems so have an umbrella handy, also an insulated water bottle would be helpful with plenty of sunscreen. Drinks from the bar are good, there’s enough wine to knock you out with every meal."
ANTIGUA BAY VILLA, St James Club, Mamora Bay, 3-bed, PRIVATE POOL & Beachfront
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed at Antigua Bay Villa for 9 nights in August and had the most wonderful holiday. From the moment we arrived, every detail had been thoughtfully considered. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch, and Andrew & Sarah were exceptional hosts throughout. We travelled as a family of 6, including 2 young children and grandparents, and the villa was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with high-quality equipment and everything we could possibly need. The pool was perfect for young children, and the beautiful, secure outdoor space meant we could genuinely relax. The location is another major strength: being on the doorstep of St James’s gives you resort facilities while retaining the privacy and luxury of your own villa. We loved our morning walks along the beach and seeing the wildlife! The owners’ information booklet was full of helpful recommendations, and swimming with the pigs was an unforgettable highlight. Vaness and Fenton were always available to help, and our driver, Evol, was a delight, sharing fascinating insights into Antigua’s history and culture.Hiring a car was easy, allowing us to explore some of the island’s beautiful west-coast beaches. We also loved sampling the local food, with Antigua Yacht Club providing a perfect final evening. We had an incredible time and feel very fortunate to have stayed here. Antigua Bay Villa truly combines luxury, comfort and convenience, and we would not hesitate to recommend it. We very much hope to return!"
