Oranjestad Hotel Guide - Manchebo Beach hotels in Oranjestad, Aruba.

"Traveled to Divi Aruba All Inclusive last week of February 2026 with my spouse. We have made 7or 8 prior visits but none within last 4yrs. Pros: Weather mid 80’s, ocean was clean and calm, staff are generally friendly and attentive to the duties. Garden view room was clean, comfortable and a short distance to beach. Cons: Restaurants on site are lacking and have limited menus with the chef’s take on preparation. Asian, Mexican and Italian restaurant meals contain non traditional ingredients so ask before ordering. The Mediterranean restaurant we passed on but it offered no hummus dish. Buffet is reduced to one resort for dinner so can be crowded but has many options including hummus. The beach is hit or miss on available chairs and palapas for shade. Aruba’s law allows anyone to use a palapa located on the beach, not just paying resort guests. However many of the people also feel free to use the resort restrooms, beach rinse stations, Wi-Fi and garbage receptacles. Lots of bottled beverages consumed on beach also. Disappointed resort security did not try addressing issues but instead stayed completely shaded while also enjoying the wi-fi playing on their phones."

"When we come to Aruba we usually stay Marriott. This time we decided to try Joia. It’s a new hotel. But that’s where the good things stopped. If you come to the beach too early no umbrellas or chairs are put out. Usually they’re starting to do that after 8-8:30 am. Also, if you didn’t come early enough the staff puts towels on the chairs claiming it’s for members only. So if that’s the case it should be advertised as such hotel. For members of some club only. Apparently if you paid $1,000.00 per night it’s not good enough for staff to accommodate you at the beach. The waitress service at the beach is the worst. They’re just doesn’t want to work. Staying most of the day under the trees. If by any miracle you see waiter passing by you better make sure he takes your order or you would have to wait forever for him to come again. Rooms are new and clean. However, it may take cleaning crew to clean your room whole day. Lots of people complained that rooms were cleaned way after 4 pm. Also, if you have reservations outside the hotel leave extra time for the taxi. It’s not easy to get taxi at this place. But more importantly, check your final bill carefully. We had quite a few charges that wasn’t ours. Truthfully, I wouldn’t go back there again. "

"The condominium is decent but not luxurious as stated in the listing. Pros it’s beds that are very comfortable and sheets were nice, place is spacious. 3 bedroom apartment had 4 towels left in 2 bathrooms for 5 people, clearly not enough and some xtra would be nice. The furniture is starting to wear off, some things should be replaced. Pool is right by the street so not relaxing as car noise there all the time. The lobby is not utilized at all, just serving water and nothing else there. The front desk girl was very friendly and helpful! Felt safe, but will not stay there again for the price I would rather get 2 hotel rooms in Marriott or st Regis. This was my 7th trip to Aruba. Stayed at Marriott, Hyatt, riu adults only, holiday inn, divi before. "

"Manchebo has a beautiful quiet location on Eagle Beach overlooking the warm and calm waters of the Caribbean, but what made it the most memorable we the incredibly friendly staff who provide outstanding hospitality. All the staff was amazing but specifically Andrew, Jean and Anika. We look forward to our next stay at the Manchebo!"
