Great Get Away Location

Very good country residence

Peaceful Mancos place was great. We enjoyed sitting on the front deck. It had all the amenities we wanted. We would recommend it and would stay there again.

Mancos Hideaway

Beautiful property only minutes from downtown Mancos. This was a perfect place for our family trip ( 3 adults). We really enjoyed the ability to bring our two dogs along. The house was warm and comfortable. The hosts were excellent. The only drawback is the noise from the highway… but this was still so quiet compared the the city.

We had a wonderful time. Loved sitting on the porch watching the donkey and mule. Comfortable beds and nice decor. Convenient location for ranging out to see Mesa Verde, Four Corners and Canyon of the ancients.

Little piece of heaven in the country

This lovely little house made a wonderful base for day trips to Mesa Verde, Ouray and Telluride. The house was clean and stocked with everything you need. The surroundings are stunning with lush vegetation and a small pond you can tool around in, in a paddle boat if you want.

The BEST Time!

This is a case of a stay where they underpromise, and over deliver!!! What a treat of a location and cabin. Also, the owners were not invasive whatsoever, but responsive (emailed back usually within 10 minutes) and hospitable (sent local recommendations based on conversation, as our plans changed last minute). Stay here, you won’t regret it! I’d give them more than 5 stars if there was a way to.

Great Location - Beautiful Setting

This property is located centrally to several attractions between Durango and Cortez. It is clean, comfortable and sits in a park-like setting complete with a small creek, a pond, and a hammock. The porch is wonderful for hanging out and just chillin'. Very close to the entrance to Mesa Verde National Park. We stayed four nights and would stay here again if ever in the area.

This cabin/home was very cozy and just what we needed to unplug from the day-to-day grind.From the island/pond to the walking trail around the property it is nice to just step outside and be. In the stillness of nature.The location is great in that it's close to Mesa Verde and a few other attractions.If I were to go back to SW Colorado, I would consider staying here again.

Great spot!

We were looking for a place in a centrally located area between Durango, Mesa Verde and Telluride. This place was just perfect. There is a bit of highway noise but not enough to be bothersome. The property is beautiful so we spent most of our time on the porch. Beds are comfy and kitchen was well equipped. We would certainly stay again.

Cozy cottage. Wonderful for bird watchers and small property to take a walk. Only drawback is road noise and can be a little warm without air conditioning. Kitchen well stocked, beds are comfortable and very clean. Owner allowed me to use laundry facilities in main house, which I greatly appreciated.

Great Front Porch

We enjoyed our stay here and sitting in the rocking chairs on the front porch. Yes, there is quite a bit of road noise as the property is adjacent to the main road, but we were okay with it. We just used a white noise app on our phone at night because it was warm and we needed to open the windows. It was a great base for us to visit Mesa Verde NP and Durango.

Awesome Retreat

This was one of the highlights of our recent trip to Colorado. It was a pleasure staying on this property just outside of Durango. The property is amazing! A creek is just a few feet from the house to relax, reflect and unwind. Also on the property is a pond and beautiful trees that the owner welcomes you to walk around and enjoy. If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful place to stay this cozy house is it!

Great location

We came to southwest Colorado to ride the train in Durango and explore Mesa Verde National Park. This property put us in the middle. It's a great location, was super clean and provided everything we needed. The beds were so comfortable!! Our 2 teenage boys enjoyed the paddle boards and peddleboat, and our entire family enjoyed the big yard. We couldn't have asked for more. Thanks for a great experience.
