The staff were fantastic, we had an ocean view room. It was a short walk to coffee shops and bars. I would recommend the hotel to anyone and everyone.

What a place! Everything is fabulous and the staff are exceptional. This was our 6th visit to the Cellars and it won’t be our last. The beautiful gardens together with the stylish interiors make for a luxurious and relaxing stay. The restaurant food is delicious too, what’s not to like?

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms clean and great service throughout the hotel.

Overall the stay was good. Room was clean, spacious (had the loft room). Service was extremely friendly, lovely and personable (especially the front desk staff). They make it seem effortless. Location is excellent, right in the heart of the V&A Waterfront area right on the dock. Breakfast was okay. Disappointing that there was only a small selection of fruit and no freshly squeezed juices (especially in South Africa). The hotel restaurant closes from 12:00PM to 1:00PM, during this time you can’t order any food. Otherwise there are no amenities on the hotel site! This is not made obvious. You need to travel across the street to the sister hotel for the pool. The front desk helped arrange a transfer from Cape Town International airport which was excellent and private transfers on demand which was also very convenient.
