About this property

Cozy cabin on the Cedar River

  • Nestled by the river in the heart of Maple Valley's oldest HOA, this freshly refurbished historic cabin provides a tranquil and convenient retreat just 45 minutes from downtown Seattle. Located on a dead-end private road, the cabin shares one acre of wooded in privacy with the owners' home. Outside enjoy your own personal river-front beach and fire pit, propane BBQ, miles of biking and walking trails, along with forest and river wildlife. Depending on the season, spawning salmon, bald eagles, deer, elk, and the owner's very friendly (but vocal) sizeable yellow lab.

    Inside, you will find a Jotul wood-burning stove, new appliances, and a well-appointed kitchen. Furnished with antiques, vintage pieces, along with a smart TV and DVD player. Downstairs the cozy bedroom boasts a FULL-SIZE bed, feather pillows and duvet, and a door that opens onto a sheltered patio with river views. Due to the age of the cabin the downstairs ceilings are low—6’10”. And the stairs are quite STEEP. Please ask any questions BEFORE BOOKING if you have any concerns.
