Domu Prexada is a large house: 400m² in the countryside, featuring a spacious living room, a kitchen perfect for spending time together, a 2000m² garden and a swimming pool.

Be close to nature, listen to the birds whilst swinging in the hammock, and cool off in the swimming pool.
Strategically located in southern Sardinia, with easy access to the 7 Fratelli Nature Reserve, Costa Rei, Villasimius and Cagliari.
A car is essential.

Domu Prexada offers plenty of space (almost 400 m² of living space and 300 m² of terrace) to relax with family or friends. Cook together in the spacious kitchen (fully equipped with a bean-to-cup coffee machine, food processor, blender, large saucepan, etc.) or on the barbecue. Enjoy the various areas of the garden (swimming pool, hammock or lounger). Live outdoors in the countryside.

Since 2022, water recycling for watering the garden, solar panels and solar thermal systems demonstrate a strong commitment to sustainability. This has made it possible to enjoy the comfort of air conditioning without increasing our ecological footprint.

For children, please note that the swimming pool is unprotected and completely open, as shown in the photo.
I also invite you to look at the house plan, which shows that four bedrooms have separate entrances and bathrooms and do not connect to one another or to the rest of the house. Only one of the bedrooms connects to the living room.

If you wish to bring your dog, I reserve the right to accept or decline your request. I prefer dogs that will not damage the garden and do not sleep on the beds. Please be considerate of everyone.

Someone will be present at least once or twice per stay at times agreed upon to clean the pool, tend to the garden and ensure the house is in good working order.

Domu Prexada isn’t just any old holiday home; it’s also my home for the rest of the year. I’ve renovated it in line with my values, and I hope we share them.


The nearest beaches are Poetto di Cagliari (15 mins), Mari Pintau di Quartu San Elena (15 mins), Villasimius (40 mins) and Costa Rei (40 mins).

A contract will be signed at the time of booking (Italian legal requirement).

Proof of identity will be required for each traveller for registration with the local authorities (Italian legal requirement).

Linen charges are for one week. They are not included in the price, as you have the option of including them or not.
The fee payable on arrival is €10 per person without a pool towel and €13 per person with a pool towel.
For rentals of more than 7 days, the price will be adjusted in 7-day increments. For example, for 10 days, the fee is doubled, and the adjustment takes place halfway through the stay.

Tourist tax: €2 (or the rate in force at the time of booking) per person, payable on arrival (a legal requirement in Italy for the town of Maracalagonis)

The local council operates a waste sorting scheme, so you are asked to strictly observe the waste sorting rules. The tenant is responsible for putting out the bins.
A penalty of €100 will be charged if the bins are not sorted correctly as indicated in the kitchen.

The water in the house is filtered (sand filter, activated carbon and UV) but is not “drinkable”.

A charge of €100 will apply in the event of excessive electricity usage, exceeding an average of 30 kWh per day, based on consumption data provided by the GSE.

Check-in (5.00 pm–8.00 pm) and check-out (10.00 am) times are fixed for weekly bookings to allow for cleaning and preparation of the property. You will be contacted in advance to arrange a check-in time. If you wish to leave before 10:00, please let us know. Unfortunately, it is not possible to check out after 10:00 during busy periods.
